Me too. Still tears. I'm dealing with a horrid situation that I have no real control over at the moment, so I understand Tia's hesitance to deal with the owner initially. Not a bad thing to say about the original owner Cheryl. We've exchanged comments prior to this. Nothing to do with Roxy. Just reflecting on my own current predicament...
Roxy knew her mama as soon as she smelled her that was it Roxy knew and you could see her smiling ...I'm glad she got to be reunited with her mama ....Animals are so amazing and precious 🐾💖....
Cheryl and Roxys story really touched me due to the fact my beagle bulldog was the same for me when I was in my active addiction to the same substance Cheryl was addicted to. Thankfully with my dogs loyalty and my will to live I now have 2 years and 8 months clean and sober ❤
Congratulations!! That’s an absolutely amazing accomplishment!!! I hope your companion is doing well, too. The unconditional love dogs hold for their family members is easily one of life’s many wonderful things.
The one thing that makes you different from All other rescue's is that you give your all to give each and every dog a second chance. Thank you and your great care team ❤️🙏 "Simply the Best Tia ".
❤ Oh my goodness, Goose was so happy the second he met Tia. When she cut his chain, he was even happier and excited to go home with her. So proud of Cheryl for turning her life around. Such a beautiful reunion between Cheryl & Roxy. ❤
RIP Roxy❤🌈🐾🥰 Cheryl I hope you are doing great work running your own center these days! Roxy will be forever a part of your life, your story, and even your future. Her mural stands to be a huge inspiration and testament of who you were, are now, and will be forever. Be well.
The story of Roxy and Cheryl will always get to me. I watched Roxy's story from the beginning and it was heart warming to say the least. She knew what she was missing. No doubt in my mind.
Goose is a very sweet boy! I've seen Roxie's story before. I cried happy tears. AND I cried happy tears AGAIN seeing it a second time! Very nice video! WOOF! WOOF! 🥰🥰
This case really shows why it is so wrong to quickly euthanize an aggressive stray dog. Reputable rescue groups know not to let an aggressive dog escape or be adopted out, so there is no danger to the public for shelters/Animal Control to give them to rescue groups. I really like the standard VRC has that they will not euthanize a dog that can be safely handled by them and the aggressiveness isn't genetic.
camera crew 100% percent stay back. they are there to film, not to help. probably unless its an emergency. and for the hoodies and jackets, maybe she just is cold for some reason lol.
I've seen the story of Cheryl and Roxy Mama 20 or more times and still cry every time. RIP Roxy.
Yes me too..just shows you the affect separation has on your pets..
100% I cry every time too❤❤
When did Roxy pass away ?.. didn't know that..
Me too...pulls at your heartstrings....💕

I love pitbulls. They are very affectionate and sweet normally.
this is one of the best stories about trust from a dog.
So glad you went and rescued him! That poor guy! Glad the neighbours fed and gave him water! Some humans are horrible!

Roxy Mama at the end of this was just an amazing plus.
Person who put that poor dog there is vile.
Tears of joy ! For all the bad that comes to Pit Bulls- your love and care helps stomp it out. Your all angels 😇💖

My only question is WHY.....why do that to a dog😢
pitbulls i think are the most misunderstood breed😢
One of my favorite rescues

Dogs operate off of smell, not eyesight.
Still . . . . .
Where are you, Cheryl?
Sooooo many of us truly care.

Looks like redboy
She hasn't gone out on her own, there's a camera crew to help
If it so hot, why are they wearing hoody's and jackets?
