Yes!!! And listening to the podcast - I didn't know Mike Schur was so loved by his colleagues. Everyone said that he said he was working on a new project and they said they were in before knowing what it was. Like damn! Definitely gonna keep following his work.

It’s really mature of Mike to say that season 4 is the last season and stick to it no matter the audience’s reaction. He created this, this is his baby and he knows better than anyone else it’s story. It’s so satisfying to see him care more about the storyline and the characters and not the money ❤️

Quiet fascinating to see when the cast itself is so enamored with the show they are on. I have noticed that shows with great writing usually have that effect. The Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul cast was also similar.

As gutted as I was to finish this show, it stayed interesting throughout, there was always a really well thought out twist or turn or storyline. That’s really hard to achieve, and the ending was realistic for those characters. I’m still sad it’s over, but the writing kept me interested and the fact I’m sad it’s over means they did it perfectly.
1:43 this is what happened with Jane the Virgin when they delayed killing off Michael. It didn't ruin the show or completely derail it, but there definitely were some out of character storylines and moments that they could've avoided and would've ultimately put the show in that top 10 most complete quality shows of all time category. It's definitely a top show, but it could've been exceptional. You have to be really stringent to stay the course.
They were so right this ending is the most satisfying ending ever, having the joy to have so much jeremy bearimy with their loved ones then passing through the gate at the end which even janet don't know what it is beyond, it is an open ending but feels like all the times they went through in heaven made them perfectly balanced and in peace like if they already lived through eons of fanfictions and spin off, I hate to see them go at the edge of all end but I love to watch them leave. Perfect ending, Heart forever on the Good Place and i would gladly be in if one day they decide to make another iteration as a prequel or sequel or entirely other universe(s).

The cast laughed when the interviewer said “I thought I asked a simple question” and I did too, thinking he was joking. Then he doubled down on it and I was like “what a dick” and I could see them thinking the same lol

I think it's a good thing for both the cast and writers that the show is ending after season 4. Everyone loves the show, loves the cast , and loves the writing. After it all comes to a close, it will leave people while they still love it all. It introduced a few wonderful new faces to Hollywood mainstream. Unlike other shows that run way too long (*coughs* Big Bang Theory), The good Place will not have the same problem of having to tie up so many ends that have developed over the years that it leaves behind a disappointed audience.

Just like “Big Bang Theory” and “Last Man On Earth”, this cast have genuine chemistry, I think that is the difference between a good show and a GREAT show. Thanks for making it 😘 For me a big bonus was that it featured D’arcy Carden, one of THE most beautiful and funny

The urge "more is better" when a story is fulfilled and complete is the exact issue with hollywood in general. Some stories are finite. Finish them where they end.

I think that’s how the writer wanted to tell the cast the ending to the first season finale, there is even a video of the cast reacting to finding out the twist. But it turns out that that video is most likely fake since in another interview Jameela reveals that Ted spoiled the twist for them before that
