you can still apply whenever, like even after 2 years from now. You can pursue masters anytime as far as I know.

no, you won't be at a disadvantage, as most university require degree evaluations - they will look at your degree at an equal level.

acceptance of ivy league is too low. Other than academics you gotta have strong Statement of purpose, lor and internships from big4(this is optional)

Biomedical is a good choice if you want to go into R&D industry otherwise you could go for a regular biotech, biology degree for a research route
