I longed for it! I picked up the violin freshman year of high school and got pretty good fast but always wanted to play the cello, then my little brother took up cello so I let the opportunity Pass by 😢 I regret it!
It's the most humane instrument. It alone can draw out ages old scars and painful memories. It is haunting in its beauty, the most sorrowful sound. Best used in deep and personal meditation or in some cases funerals as well.
@@thelordsarmypodcast6164 .... it also covers the human vocal range, and it's tone is close enough to provoke the same feeling as if someone were singing.

I don't think that I've seen a cellist who takes so much bow since I was a pupil in Maurice Gendron's cello class at the Conservatoire in Paris, many decades ago. In any event, the results are good!

I very much like it, when a string instrumentalist does hit the pitch. This is sublime, also in the very fast passages. Very emotional, very, very well played. Very, very high standard of art. Thank you so much for that beauty.
This very subtle and quiet style reminding me of the best late Georgian Ⅲ furniture. Of course better than Furnier whose sound remains only on surface while her's penetrates deeply into our hearts. Wonderful genius in 21 century.
Although Cassadò's 'Requiebros' has long been a standby of my repertoire, I did not know of the existence of this Suite until right now, when I happened upon this video. I think that I shall have to order the score.
Well, some people do have a natural ability to learn things faster than the average person. Nobody's born instantly good (unless extreme cases like being a savant), but a talented person will have an easier time learning.
For me too. I'm a cellist who took up the violin a couple of years ago. In two years I got to the Bach double violin concerto which I adore. But the E-string next to my ear was just too high and irritating. It isn't for nothing I chose the cello, whose tessitura I prefer.
Diogène De Sinope ?? Where do you learn that? It does not at all hurt to slide your finger down a string. I’m a cellist, so I can only speak for cellos. The strings are perfectly smooth
6 years with the violin yet the sound of a cello resonates with my soul more.
I felt this but for viola, I think I might start learning cello soon
it’s the bass

I thought you were just talking but the Moment She Started playing I went "Oh fuck."
isn't too late to switch
The violin plumbs the depth of one’s heart; the cello, the depths of one’s soul. Musical symbiosis occurs between the two.
Very well said
And the viola?
I don’t know what it is about cello but it’s so gorgeous

Thanks I play cello😂
It produces the most beautyfull harmonics that touch the soul... ❤️
Passion? Depth? Harmony?
This is so beautiful. Proof that if anyone puts in enough hard work they'll achieve their goals.
I have no idea how this proves that but it IS very beautiful
Thats such a stupid and classistic sentence!
@@adamgillespie3393 it proves it because obviously she practiced alot to be able to play that

I love Cello cause it’s note range is huge -> versatility is huge
You don't listen to the cello, you feel it
Oh my. The cello has bass and treble for days. Absolutely wonderful performance.
Your music helped put my baby to sleep. Thank you!!!

Thank......Danker..........Obrigado!!!!!
I actually just recently started playing cello, i really do hope in a couple of years i will finally learn how to play the cello
😆
You shouldn't say that. You will never just "learn the cello", you'll always have room for improvement.
Such a beautiful performance 🥰
Beautiful performance of this expressive and dreamy piece. Thankyou!

Beautiful performance and music. Melts my heart!
Fabulous, beautiful, amazing! I really needed to listen to such music this morning; it really lifted my spirits.

I hear a lot of similarities to the Kodaly sonata. Wonderful piece, wonderful performance.

i hope you're aware of the complete happiness you bring in here
I hope one day I could play it too

Now I want to learn this suite instead of the Bach one I was supposed to learn
Do It! sheet music is online. You have this excellent video as inspiration and a reference point! Ain't nothing stopping you!
Sameee
John Wood Composer this one is a lot more challenging than Bach’s. That might stop someone
@@euomu but getting a good phrasing on the bach is arguably a lot harder
He doesn't have Bach's main problematic that is to sound like a master. So I think there's here some margin to search and feel deeper.
When cello and cellist become one...
Eccezionale grande talento
Talent isn’t a thing it’s practice they if you put hard work into something you can be an expert at it

Been playing for 5 years and i will never reach this skill😢
I bet she plays for 15 years at least..
Great playing and a very nice French cello I presume !
Wow! You make it sing
Maravilhoso!

espero tocar así algún día

Just amazing. Cellos and violas are just so epic. Violins are too high pitched imho, but it is just a personal music taste thing.

Dorothy Bloomberg my bridge has " little heart thing"
😉😁
I have the heart as well on my 🎻(violin)

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My fingers are already hurting seeing her... Not even started anything yet
So schönn
what's the tempo on this piece? marvelous
exellent
Thats one huge violin for a girl😮
👏👏
WOW
Ich spiel zwar Cello aber kann niemals so schönn spielen wie sie
Whenever i see people move their fingers up and down one string really fast i get like anxiety that it's gonna give them rope burn or a cut lol
They learn how to first release pressure then softly move up or down
You're also less likely to hurt your finger doing that on a cello than on a violin
Geofanny Yohanes he cuz the strings are bigger
Diogène De Sinope ?? Where do you learn that? It does not at all hurt to slide your finger down a string. I’m a cellist, so I can only speak for cellos. The strings are perfectly smooth
I am a cellist it doesn't hurt at all. The strings are soft feeling. We do get callices though
Mysterious and otherworldly.
