No matter how many times I've watched this clip I enjoy it every-time, the grandeur, the pomp, the epic one-against-many fight-scene and then the tragic ending, the fall. It's so incredibly good and yet, I can't understand a word of it...not one word. I love the language, though, it's expressive and fierce and the people speaking it are, to me, exotic and familiar at the same time, their features and expressions hinting at a time, 3,000 years ago when we were all a bunch of jumbled tribes migrating over the Caucasus or across the Steppes, toppling kingdoms and establishing new ones, all from horseback. Anyway, I get that familiarity but, simultaneously, I can't believe how exquisite the female lead is and how handsome and sturdily-built her lover was; The image of him superimposed over the statue of Shiva(?) wielding two swords was worthy of an oil-painting: Beautifully conceived, beautifully executed and beautifully rendered. Anyway, for everyone involved, actors, director, writer, costumer and backdrops crew and choreographers, everyone who was a part of this, well done!
