Daechwita is a traditional form of Korean music which used to be played upon a kings arrival meaning to show of the kings power. In the video, Suga aka Agust D has two characters, the 'King' Suga and 'bottom class' Suga. King Suga is a tyrant and he has everyone kneeling down and he beheaded people who have complaints while bottom class Suga is like Suga's personality when he is with the other members (BTS). In behind the scene Daechwita episode, Yoongi (Suga) said that the King Suga in the MV represent the 2016 Agust D and that bottom class 2020 Agust D had to kill him to take over. Basically, this song is about his duality. Suga when he did solo stuff, we called him as Agust D. He is famous of his duality where Suga is his soft side and Agust D is his hard side. The video is not all about him bragging when there is nowhere up to go. He literally says he now wants to look down and keep his feet on the ground which I believe means he doesn't want to stay fascinated by being on top, but keep himself true and not lose himself. That's why the 'bottom class' Suga killed the 'King' Suga at the end of the video.

People thought that the scar was referencing how you can't have scars or blemishes and be royalty in South Korea and he was rebelling. But in reality, he said the scar on his face was just because he thought it was cool. 😂

Suga had a difficult childhood. He had a rough relationship with his parents who didn't accept his passion for music, even destroying his songwriting. He was really depressed from that and also has social anxiety. The song Agust D is him kind of touching on it all.

Im not sure i have this right but i think it stood for him killing his old self cause when he wore the traditional outfit was his old self and when he had the other outfit it was his new self. the scar didn't have really any meaning he said but if you want to give it a meaning: in korea (years and years ago obviously since south korea now has presidents instead of a royal monarchy) , if you're a king, scars are looked down upon. it is said that kings are not to have scars and wounds on their visible body aka their face and hands etc. i'm not sure why but it's probably something to do with pride and dignity. kings or any royals in korea weren't expected to fight in battles which protects them from getting such scars. in Suga's mv he obviously has a very noticable scar all the way across his eye that you could see from a mile away so i think it's a metaphor for not conforming to rules and expectations of him. he tends to run with the theme of being not like everyone else and going against a system in his music. he doesn't like to be put in a box. however, in an interview Suga said that the main reason for the scar was for shock factor and to look cool lmao💀.
Suga said in a behind the scenes interview that he wanted the scar just for a visual impact. No symbol behind it. If you notice, The 2016 Agust D is blond, and full of anger. Agust D of today has grown and is no longer the blond mad king. What happens after he shoots the king? Agust D said we will have to wait for the next MV. BTW, the shoes he has on are Travis Scotts.

Suga is the one that was poor and didn't have enough money when he was young. He is one of the fastest rappers in kpop and not only in kpop but in the world. He's simply one of the best and a living legend.

as far as i know, in south korea, a king cannot sit on the throne with a scar on his face (which obviously means he is not fit to be a king) but here in the mv, he claims that he's the king, he's the boss, breaking that stereotype and showing everyone that he can achieve anything and is capable of doing anything he wants despite getting criticized (by the haters, if we talk about his career as an idol rapper). this may not be everything, but i hope it helped you have an idea on why he had that scar on his face. also, agust is pronounced like the month 'august' hehe :) anywayyy, great videos ♡ i hope you can do more reactions and continue to be an army like us!

agust d is different from suga/yoongi even if they are the same people. i’m not sure but i think that Big Hit (bts’ label) doesn’t really limit when he says in songs since it’s separate from the bts songs which are normally positive and have the cute visuals that they have.

Ok so Daechwita is a traditional Korean march that they'd play for the king (other ARMY help if I'm getting that wrong but I think that's right). And the gun thing at the end, I personally think it ties to the lyric about wanting to put his feet back on the ground. The peasant killing the king is him killing the version of himself that is larger than life.

Please react to the the vocal line "The Truth Untold" Live / lyrics video it's a really good song that tells a sad story behind it.
So you can understand the lyrics of that song the story says there was a guy who was considered "the ugliest ever" and he hid alone in his house scared that people would judge him bc he was so ugly. He had a garden outside his house where he grew beautiful flowers. He then noticed they were disappearing, and knew someone was stealing his flowers so then one day he decided to stay up and catch the person. He then sees the person go to his garden and sees its the most beautiful girl he's ever seen so instead of being mad at her he decided to plant a flower everyday for her. This continued for sometime till he notices he had fallin for this girl, he wanted to confess to her and decided to plant a special type of flower for her (it was a unique expensive one or something). When she went to get it he would come out and show himself to her but unfortunately she never came back and he later found out she had died. In the song you'll notice its from the point of view of the guy BC of the lyrics.
