Day 1 of the 'Springtime in the East' weekend of orienteering, with an urban orienteering race in Thetford, Norfolk, organised by Norfolk Orienteering Club on Saturday 20 April 2024.
Gopro headcam video with map of course 3, Men Superveteran / Women veteran, around the complex residential areas, town centre and finishing in the grounds of the ruined 12th Century Thetford Priory.
Third event in the UK Urban League.

Looks like a lovely place. Thanks for sharing your run. Not sure where in relation, but my friends are moving US-Liverpool area. Map question...seems the mapmaker was remiss in showing that 8 foot high fence...something like that could have definitely affected route choice had a control been on the street side of those first 8 houses on the left after the start. I mean...there are a few different types of fence/wall symbols that certainly would have been appropriate to use. Video looked a little shaky, do you have stabilization disabled? Thx.
