Honestly for the price of a Safari I'm surprised that you need to tip as well.

I do it differently. $1K/wk for PH, $100/wk for waiter, $150/wk for cook, $150-$200/wk for trackers (usually 3), $100 for ranger/game scout and $100-$200 for skinner. It does add up as you end up tipping about 9 people. I usually hunt DG in free range countries

Not a bad plan. My clients run the whole spectrum from the cheapest cull hunters to high-dollar big game hunters. I had to provide something in the middle. No doubt that the tips should run a bit higher on a dangerous game hunt. They are risking their lives.
