April 4th, I get the permanent crown to replace this temporary crown they put in a couple of weeks ago. (First appointment took 45 minutes after the numbing.) They ordered the new crown. It's the same tooth location as yours. The dentist discovered that my teeth hadn't been coming together very well. He corrected some of my bite with the upper tooth. -- You've been working on your weight. Teeth are a VERY important part of health. Properly lined up teeth will help you sleep better: aids in digestion. Better sleep aids weight loss. -- Tooth decay can cause other health issues in the body. I'm glad to see you working on your health - from all angles!

I have a great dentist and another great oral surgeon. Expensive, but in the long run, implants are worth the pain of the pulled tooth and the expense. I wish implants had been available when I had my first gold crowns on my molars.

when i left school over 30 years ago i worked for the local council how looked after the cemeteries and dug all graves by hand up to 7 feet deep and 8 feet long and we back filled by hand we used to tamp down the soil so it wouldnt settle as much later on it was hard work but we took pride in how the place looked

Daddy Corn Star I have six implants $5000 is cheap I paid 10,000 apiece. Best advice I can give you iasteak gas when you’re getting those post put in. I hate getting shots in my mouth and my doctor gave me like eight shots and it made my heart beat so fast. It was something terrible so ask for some gas it will so much smoother smoother.
You crack me up DCS... I'm your age but quit farming 20 years ago... I was the mechanic, welder, fabricator etc ... Favorite times were in the shop... My father didn't have it...
DC, we don’t do graves/cremations but for post holes and whatnot we use a pipe it can be solid or hollow and it’s long and you just fill the hole and then you use that and tap it around and it packs everything and works great. Its technically called a tamping pole

Mine is the left side bottom tooth. I miss mine too but I have to wait to get my tooth I don't have dental insurance and your right it's expensive. Good job on the cemetery it shows alot of respect. ❤❤❤

Not to worry Daddy Cornstar. Getting the anchor is the worst of it. After you anchor sets, it smooth sailing. I just got my implant in January. Definitely not cheap. Now kick back and enjoy ice cream. ( It helps the stitches heal faster 😉)
I have an implant for the exact same tooth. I have had mine for at least 10 years now and have had no trouble with it. By the way, the extraction of the tooth was the worst part compared to putting the implant in so the worst is over.
