I did my apprenticeship at Melford in Elizabeth st. When Toyota took over I stayed with Toyota and had to empty out all the left over spare parts. So many panels and parts dating even back to XR-XT. One thing I kept was a new HO spec carburettor. Sold it later, wish I had it now.
Seems to be the way with older cars! Many got lowered, even nowadays it’s still happening. Most cases though, the cars handle better with factory suspension left as it should be.
My mate had a white one yes same as that in Southport on the goldcoast BUT it also had a factory sunroof (it even came with paperwork) he sold it in 2003 for 20k.
