Flamengo is a beach at the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Brazilian local people and tourists like to spend weekends at this beach playing games such as volleyball and football, take sun bath, jogging and enjoying views to the Sugar Loaf mountain (Pão de Açucar) and Niteroy city. Near the beach located a beautiful park (The Aterro do Flamengo) which one is well wooded and calm. It's a good place for walking at the weekends.
