I think Castlemania should be the last level , because you know , It has some cool Bossfights . Which would be a cool end level. Also , "Still life" is easier than Castlemania (In my opinion) , so "Still life" should be the 4th level of the "Castle Gauntlet"
It was the opposite for me, Castlemania took me ~100 attempts, while Still life took me 252 attempts, idk why but the climbing tower thing was hurting my brain so much, after I passed that part I fluked it first try
still life is probably the most interesting level in the gauntlet. No mode changes, no gravity changes, no orbs, no pads, all pure cube jump gameplay, but is still very unique and fun gameplay wise.

for castlemania there is actually an easier path. You don't need to become mini to get that key, instead you drop down at the second hole into the sewers at 12:58 . You have a couple jumps in the sewers which aren't that bad and then you're back on the exact same path as this and the same door unlocks, and you don't have to do those difficult mini cube jumps
One of the things that annoys me in levels if you can just fall out of the map and the structuring just disappears, I think more creators should put top spikes to stop this kind of thing from happening.
Thank you for pointing out the pillar on crush. So the QR code at 82% says hit the star bush then jump on the blue pillar. The star Bush is at 12% you just fly into it. Then obv jump on the blue pillar then your in the shop. 4 coins you can buy a crush indicator, for 10 you can buy a jump indicator for the rest of the level and for 16 you can get rid of the crush effect through the whole level allowing you to get the crushed coin.

The Doom Gauntlet is the hardest of all for me. Shrill hallway took me so long and I don't know why. im so glad that Castlevania is finally in the Gauntlet. its such an amazing level - I love it
I absoulutely hate that level, it took me 3 hours to learn, I have no idea why is it in the castle gauntlet. I hate this gauntlet, because I hate XL levels.
@@EimysGD I hate to say this, but that's what we in the business call a skill issue. If it took you 3 hours to learn, then that's mostly on you - the gameplay is honestly 8 star at most.
@@EimysGD Neither was I lol, but there's a rhythm to it, and decent enough music sync such that, provided you're already moderately good at cube, and sightreading, it's not nearly as bad as it could be. I guess it varies from person to person though, but the level took me like 58 attempts while Castlemania took like 600... (tbf in Castlemania I took the Deep Path, which ain't easy)

It’s a shame they can’t put in harder levels in the gauntlets because there are some banger hard insane and extreme demons and I really want Michigun temple series in the temple gauntlet
@@fahrenheit2101 Ideally lists will be expanded on in the future so that creators can make them feel less like map packs. For example you would be able to create a custom GD world island or something, so that the levels aren't just in a bland list.

Castlemania not being the final level is an odd choice. Still Life definitely has a sort of cool vibe to it which makes it work too, but compared to Castlemania, well... the obvious choice is obvious.
I just experienced something at the first level of the gauntlet 'Crush' There is this different colored pillar that you actually need to double click and you'll get into a shop (Only if you have enough coins over 10)
Same here I managed to fluke it from 40 for some reason I probably got lucky because I didn't even take my time to practice the tower part This is harder than glorious fortress
I remember completing "Still Life", really really good level but beating it was stressful I almost choked when I saw it as the final level in the castle gauntlet

So many people complain about still life’s tower section, but i brute forced that part in practice mode and was able to beat the level in exactly 30 minutes from the start of me playing practice mode to me beating the level in normal Aside from that section the rest of the level is probably a 5 star, easy beginning and the arrows at the end make it so easy
it is suposed to give you a ramp that brings you up to a mini shop you puchase the last item there which costs 16 coins then it disables the crushers so you would have to learn the route of the coin it starts in the spider part then continues into the cube and ball and then stops after that if it does not work all i can sugest is that you just retry.
This gauntlet is probably among the best ones out there and probably one of my favorites! is something i could say if i could get past the first fucking level
