True, the Russians usually wage wars for the long term to gain decisive victory, unlike NATO or US which fight wars for short term which resulted in nonconclusive results. The last real war which the US fought which was decisive was WW 2, after that every war the US was involved or fought in were just battles which never ended any present or future war globally.
