    That was a beautiful explanation of Jonah. I never heard it explained in such a way with such clarity. Now I think i will go back and read it again looking at it through this filter. Thank you.

    Does it really say that Jonah survived? Could it not be that his prayer was the prayer of a dying man, and that God brought him back to life after 3 days? Would this then not be a better type of Christ the Lord?

    God was not so much trying to conquer Nineveh as much as He was trying to conquer Jonah.

    @8:55 whoah.. sense a bit of self projection.... some people r scared and discouraged and have been ripped apart and ridiculed when they have shared with their neighbour. they r scared and hurt. so just spitting out what you have saying we really dont actually care is really rash. easy copout and emotionalism to hook people.

      But what he says remains true. You love yourself and your comfort more than you value saving others. Jesus brought the truth to his enemies and Jerusalem and was crucified because He loved them
