The pictures in color really drive home the beauty of the ship. i can just imagine the tones and the shadows sitting in the smoking room at night, sipping a brandy.
Beautiful images but regarding the interior ones, none of them belong to the Titanic but the Olympic. The Titanic sank so soon that there aren’t almost any pictures of her interior. There is only one blurry picture of the Titanic dinning room but none of the staircase… Sorry about that.
Everybody's family went down on the Titanic UGH ! He would have to be old as dirt if his uncle went down on a ship that sunk well over106 years ago !!!

That's the sad part! We have the resources to build new Titanics or other elegant ships, but they build fat floating boxes instead. I guess more people are willing to pay to watch cringy shows or movies, or spend money in the casino while sailing. People who prefer to go to the fake luxury restaurants dressed with unfitting smokings, so bad-looking and uncomfortable that it seems more like a carnival dress-up. When the time will come again for beautiful ships and real elegance, with gentlemen and ladies wearing their evening dresses because they are educated and not because it's a gimmick, then I will be ready to pay big money to be part of that paradise.
The launch picture at the 0:06 mark shows the promenade deck completely open to the elements. Unlike the Olympic, the eventual Titanic had about half of this deck enclosed (See mark 0:42). Does anyone know if this deck enclosure change was made after launch, or is this just a picture of the Olympic at 0:06?
The Olympic was was painted in a very light grey when she was launched (it was considered more photogenic) so this picture is definitely of the Titanic which confirms the closing in of the deck was done after launch.

It had an almost modern looking superstructure very sleek and uniformed with the style being very classic
