When he performed Background I broke down. Lecrae is so humble. Being at Passion 2013 was life changing. If you haven't been you truly should.
When people think of rap they link it to gangs and trouble but really it is depending on what is in the songs you are saying. Gods music doesn't stay in the barriers of just Gospel it spreads to all types of genres. What Lecrae is doing is amazing this is meant for the people of today's generation, letting them listen to gospel music without them changing their favorite genre.
I'm 59 and he is a favorite!! I shared his music with my grandkids, they love him too!!

I'm a youth pastor for over 15 years and there is nothing wrong with 2:10. If God allows me to jump then I'm going to jump. Worship is ANYTHING that gets my minds attention and my hearts affection towards God. Jumping can do it, dancing, praying, even cleaning a house. No one is jumping around to give themselves attention. Everything we do either brings people closer to Christ or pushes them farther away...which side are you on?

It's Lecrae's crew which includes many other artists. It's based off of Romans 1:16 which says "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God for salvation..." They aim to raise and empower a generation of young, unashamed believers through their music.
These are real people, with real issues and real dreams and a real future. Here we have 60,000 plus young people who are glorifying God who COULD BE out running the streets, playing xbox or crying over our economy. We should be thankful we have a generation to stand up for Christ! Praying for you and any cold calloused cancerous hearts out there bringing down others because we don't worship the same. Wake up and join in with us!

Watched the live stream last night & lost my voice.got completely crae, absolutely INCREDIBLE!! You could feel the place shaking from the U.K.! God was there for sure, awesome sermon, awesome worship but Lecrae's set was on a whole different level - possibly the best live set I've ever seen of him, I WILL see him live soon! The amount of times I've watched this today is ridiculous! GOD IS AWESOME!!
Exactly Scotty, worship comes from the heart and if we don't study to show ourselves approved unto God, then we will never know that. I don't understand how some Christians can say the church is getting music and dance from the world when I believe I read somewhere in some Book that God created everything, which led me to believe that music was included in "everything" too. Lecrae never once said worship me or let me feel your energy. He's pointing all hearts to Jesus and away from him.
Worship is an attitude of the heart...not a set action we have to do! Whatever you do, if it is to glorify His name it is good. It is not for us to decide what is and is not acceptable to almighty God!
Wow, this song was absolutely amazing. In my top 3 I think. The dry bones sermon majorly spoke to me, and the video they showed as Lecrae's intro touched me. Thanks for the video!

AMEN. Christian rap music are leading younger people to Christ. And Thank to Lecrae, he also lead me to rededicated my life to Christ because of his testimony and his songs. He was once a drug addicted like I used to be and since he overcame his addictions by the Blood of Christ, I realized that I can too. And thanks to God, I am clean from drugs for three years now. God bless Lecrae with his faith,
I've never been in a club where I see 60,000 people getting hype and worshiping Jesus Christ through clean and positive music. When you find a club where people are doing this, please let me know because I would love to attend. God bless you.

I don't understand why everyone is bashing Lecrae??? Maybe people should pay attention to the words. It's not about the rap, any tune could say anything. He's speaking truth and reaching audiences all across the world. I could tell a huge difference between him and other artists because of the words and truth to his music.

Lecrae is worshiping the Lord. His lyrics is about spreading the Word of God. And he, as a rapper, teaching the Gospel in his song. That the problems with Christians today, they think that it a rap song, is not a worship song, but instead of hearing the beat, listen to the message. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, - Eph. 5:19. Rap is music and he singing to the Lord.
God doesn't care how we worship Him, but all he cares is if we worship Him from heart.

No hard feelings whatsoever, but I feel that we are dancing like this for God. There is nothing wrong with praising his name while having a good time. We are not jumping to the beat of songs with drugs but instead to the beat of Lacrae and our love for God

I live near Chicago where hundreds of young black men are dying senslessly every year. The enemy of our souls is aggressively taking these precious ones. I am middle aged and certainly not into this kind of music, but PRAISE GOD for His salvation that has come to these "kids". Please rejoice with Him and lose the judgmental attitudes!!!
