    I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Lofthouse at the heirloom seed expo in northern California a few years ago. He gave me a few different varieties of corn seed that I have been acclimating to my soil in northern California, attempting to finalize a landrace variety. It is a blast piggybacking on Joseph’s philosophies about gardening and experimenting to better our farm. I’ve given his booked all my friends as gifts! One of my favorite books

      Thank you Claire! Seeds are so important and it was fantastic to learn from Joseph. It is amazing to think that in about 3 seasons we can have plants that are flourishing and locally adapted 😃
