Red Hood: You heroes and leaguers are up in the clouds. You don't see the real problems of the streets. Batman: We all literally started as street-level heroes and still head back there regularly. Superman: We just also do the multitasking of fighting aliens invaders who want to kill everybody, including the people on the streets, and multiversal threats who want to wipe out everybody, including the people on the streets. Red Hood: BUT THE STREETS.... I'M REAL. IM GROUNDED. I'm the ANTI-HERO who grows further for the little forgotten people. Wonder Woman: How does helping people who are disenfranchised make you an anti-hero? Red Hood: .... I'M COMPLEX .. Nightwing: Sure thing, dramatic bro. 😅
Like how they show that while Jason is on good terms with the Bat Family and can have goofy fun, he still doesn’t see eye to eye with everything sometimes.
Hood was one my favorites growing up. He’s short fused, arrogant and doesn’t hesitate in pulling a trigger. But he’s been through hell and climbed out of it to get down to earth. Neither his nor Batman’s way of things are perfect, but in their own way, it’s the right thing.
Despite his tough appearance, Jason has a good heart after what he's been through in order to get others to trust him even though he's hard to handle at times.
Good moment for Red Hood. Great Opportunity for a reoccurring civil character. Interesting call back to him saving someone else. But never forgot Red Hood also did not kill the Joker or lock him up, just like Batman. But then again. That's technically not their job. Not should it be, technically.
I agree with Jason. Batman does help the city, he does fight to make it better, but Bruce Wayne was born into the 1%. Yes, Bruce has his troubles and past, but it’s very different to what the majority of the city feels. Jason understands that trouble more than anyone else in the family. He’s from a crooked part of the city and he’s fighting to make it better. Jason understands what it’s like to live in a cracked world, not just see it from a distance.
This is such a great deconstructuon of Jason's character. He might be back jn the Bat Family, but he still has that anger, and he still disagrees with Bruce's ideals.
I really like how this comic handles Jason and Bruce. None of that cycle where they fight each other, then estranged, then reach an understanding, only to have some disagreement that causes another estrangement. I prefer it when Jason still finds his own sense of justice and Bruce understands that his path is different from Batman's and that's fine. Batman can be way to preachy when trying to convince everyone else his idea of justice is the true one so im glad we have this where Batman can just reel back the self-righteousness.
Naw its not flawed at all. If anything its weird that its right. Saving gotham as Bruce wayne in the day wherever possible and saving as batman at night. No one person can save everyone
Now this is the jason i know and love. He actively criticizes bruce for his failures, and truely cares about gotham, he's arguably a better hero than bruce, he just goes about it in a way he feels is better, even if it isn't sometimes. the under the red hood comics and movie is the best jason, because they made him an outright villain, not an anti hero. Like he legit became a drug lord and gang leader, all to protect gotham and smack some sense into bruce. And because of him becoming a crime lord, he actively makes gotham safer by regulating things more directly. It's the same concept behind the Hells Angels or the Yakuza. They make crime itself safer to do, and because of that the general public in the area is safer too. Hell, they even get some respect from the locals for helping to fix up the place. one of my all time favorite lines in comics history is B: "you're becoming a crime lord" RH: "YES! That's what you've never understood! I'm controlling it!" B: ... RH: "you want to rule this city by fear; but what happens to the ones who aren't afraid? I'm doing what you won't, i'm taking them out!"
I AM AWARE I SKIPPED ANOTHER CHAPTER IT IS BEING EDITED, IM TRYING NOT TO MAKE THIS A HABIT.
we’ll try and make before u do the next one I think
@@andrewq6844 what?
It's okay we're just thankful for you getting the videos out!
I mean well
I love how considerate and patient Jason is with the kid, even when the kid snaps at him. That's how any good hero would act with a distressed child.
Most people seem to forget something about Jason that even though he's the "angry Robin" he's still picked up on Bruce's patience and compassion.
He cares about people; except the ones that get flares shoved down their throat.
Jason is the way he is but he has a way of dealing with children that all members of the Batfamily have ❤
The way that most of people think he's an "angry and rude vigilante", but he's just a street kid inside
I love him sm😭😭

Spawn *looks over to Red Hood* : I like this kid.

That kid looks like the kid in chapter 82 but a little older.
Him and that and the girl too (I headcanon them as siblings)

I mean, Bruce has also extensively traveled and trained across the world, so he likely saw alot of world's poverty and so on during his training.
@@CountDVBHe didn't grow up in it.
