I use a ratchet and socket to break spark plugs loose then I use 1/4 in Milwaukee electric ratchet to remove them and then hand start them and finish with the electric ratchet. Works wonders in hard to reach /back of motor/blind plugs not having to hand ratchet plugs.
Is it are you feeling okay you look unusually sweaty and drawn in this vid I seem to be having a little trouble putting your words together at the end? What was the last time you had a cardio workup at the dock? I'm not trying to say anything negative here whatsoever brother but based on my experiences in the medical field I would suggest maybe getting a stress test along with some blood work sooner rather than later. Can't forget this job does the number on the body I watched similar I've been with my father who was a Machinist and do the standing on his feet all day 4 years it had a massive impact on his heart especially if you're working with your arms over your head and he dropped dead at 42 so please do not take any symptoms you may be experiencing if any lightly and go get checked out your children will thank you in the long run. Best of wishes on I hope I'm wrong
I bought the cordless charging lights in love them Also bought the Mini airgun Had for couple years works great For the money. They make good tools for reasonable price.
The only 1/2” ratchet I have at work is the 2’ long snap on. That would have been real handy on the crv knock sensor I had recently. Really like how compact that spark plug socket tray is but I just recently got the gearwrench set
I've seen some good reviews on the Astro ratchets. I'm going to put the long 3/8ths in the 1/4 body on my Christmas list for someone to get and if they don't I'll be getting it myself. I've got really big hands and forearms and can never reach through the tangled hoses and wire looms and find myself needing a longer ratchet all the time. I would like a long fine-tooth ratchet all my Snap-On and Mac's don't have the tooth count but they still work and I don't get rid of good tools.
Okay, this is strange as hell. I am watching I.T. Tech tool videos for Network Communication and Computer repair. RG45 Crimping and this guys videos keep showing up. I am sure this guy is a great mechanic, but Unless this guy has a side job in Network Data Communication, Computer Server panels and Digital fiber optic installs. I have no idea why his videos keep showing up in those searches. But they do.
Have a set of AP o2/vacuum sensor socket that I've had for 20 years and never had a problem. That ratchet looks pretty nice! Only thing is I haven't been able to find a rebuild for broken stubby impact, oh well. Honestly for the price and how much I used it (full time for a while), not really a big deal.
I alway removed spark plugs with an air ratchet also installed them to after starting by hand. This was all in the good old days when we had room for the most part. Not like a lot of vehicles today.
I was looking at some of these on amazon - I live in New Zealand and locally tools are limited options but amazon ships to us here.... Would you say 1/4 and 3/8 in the small bodies and long are a great option or just a good option?
Yeah don't use impact with those sparkplug sockets. I used my gearwrench ones on a 5.4L with a stubby impact and broke it on the first plug. Gearwrench replaced it but yeah use regular spark plug socket and extension on those.
Give FRM a break. I've recently had to start making MyKaarma videos at work to show customers what their car needs. Shit's not easy. When I first started it took me 8-10 takes before I had a 2 minute video without a bunch of flubs and lock-ups. Now I usually get it in 2-3 takes. I give him credit for saying fuck it sometimes and just putting out videos, warts and all.
So far Astro tools have lived up to the warranty they claimed. One email with all the info and few days later I have a replacement. Unlike grey pneumatics which suck, they wanna make me drive 50miles to a "authorised" dealer. That has no clue what I'm talking about when it comes to warranty replacement

I have a old discontinued MAC fine tooth 1/2 drive ratchet that is not long, And has a small drive end. Thing is really handy!

He just gets his hustle on. I wouldn't be too worried.

A close up of the rachet you liked would be helpful.

I get tongue tied all the time when doing my videos. Cool to see you left some in. You need the ultra shallow low pro socket adapters.
He gets excited about his ratchets man. Have a blessed and safe week to you and your family.
Love modified ratchets especially when they are manufactured that way

Don't sweat it, FRM. It's October.

Snap on and MAC used to have 1/2" ratchets in the 3/8" body with they would bring them back
Heck yea receiving tools is always good, no matter what they are
Thanks for the review

Trying to make me buy more tools huh Mike? 😁
You can never have enough ratchets!

@@flatratemaster oh okay bro didn't even see the pinned comment thanks brother
Can you compare the astro pneumatic to the craftsman side by side?
Nice! Cheers 👍
Thanks.
