"The McFadden Fast and Furious Bridge" 😆Your videos have helped me to set the bar high in a field I previously had no insight in. I've turned down two dentist so far and meet with my first prosthodontist tomorrow. The trust I have developed for you through your videos has me considering traveling the 1100 miles to see you. Thank you for sharing what you do!
I’m glad you have found them so helpful! My goal here is patient education. I wish you the very best on your consultation with your first prosthodontist. If you don’t get the answers (and lips retracted before and after photos) you’re after, I’m here. All my best! Let me know how it goes!
I've been a dental technician for many years and have work in all on x dental lab and it was a butcher shop, anyone that is getting this treatment done listen to this man and do a lot of research and you'll find out that everything he is saying is true. Keep this informative videos coming Dr God bless you.
Thank you, Aaron. I very much appreciate your input, (and your dedication to my channel). I believe your comment here will speak to many who are deeply researching this difficult decision of just how to manage what to do (or NOT do!) when they’ve reached this phase of restorative needs.
I have a family member who works at a dentist office, I think they offer the all on, I told her I want to have the implant bridges done. Her response was that of if I kicked a puppy. I told her a few reasons I don’t want to be cut into like that. She was in disbelief that just one of the negatives is hacking apart my jaw and losing that precious bone. She even said “I’ve never heard of that” I’m just curious how they sell people on the procedure? If someone who works there doesn’t know exactly what happens, I am shocked what they tell patients. These “professionals” need to have consequences for what they are getting away with. The dental industry needs more regulation,
Dr. McFadden I thank you for your honesty. I have been listening to and watching the videos of another dentist about implants and I thought they were being honest but I have never heard them discuss bone removal. It is really unbelievable the greed and misinformation associated with all on 4.
I have said this before, many thanks for saving me from a disaster. Unfortunately, a lot of people will only want to know what happened after damage is done.
Hope you're doing well Dr. McFadden! Having dental troubles at the moment, and can't wait for the day I finish school and earn a salary enough to finally do what I want with my teeth. Hope to see you on graduation!
@@mcfaddendentalimplantcenter I see from the website that you do preventive dentistry as well, if I don't feel as though I can trust the dentist I'm currently seeing, I might just have to bite the bullet and reach out to you to see if you're available. To get an opinion on my current mouths health that I can trust. No insurance sucks. Finally bought the best Delta Individual plan but the 12 month wait time for actual repairs is rough. on a managed plan that will begin in september though. Residing in Houston currently so it's not the worst drive I guess! Stay safe~!
Great video. I’m seeing a lot of implant dentists now saying surgical guides or even robotic surgery is the best option. What’s is your stance on that vs the traditional surgical method?
There are certainly times when these are of great help. When I teach implant surgery we always start with free-hand placement but I encourage them to use guides often.
So I went to see a dentist in London, and she airily proposed 'angled abutments' as if they were the most natural, obvious thing...Yet you vehemently oppose them. Are they bad because they aren't seen in nature, or because they have bad outcomes, long and short term?
I had a dentist recommend all on 4 for me because I have 5 teeth that need implants in my upper jaw. The problem I had with his recommendation was that all my front teeth are in excellent condition, except for a chipped front tooth. They are strong and healthy and perfectly aligned, yet he wants to extract them all and do all on 4 because I need implants in my back teeth. I said absolutely not. He seemed annoyed that I couldn't see the benefit of his suggestion. He even sent his assistant to try and convince me.🤔 Is it common to extract good teeth for this procedure?
There was a book written in the 70s called, "Dentistry and its Victims". I have not read it... rather I have lived it. If I had more time, I would enjoy writing that book !!!

It's a travesty. Intense marketing and indoctrination. I am glad you are informed. Spread the word !!

Are they bad because they aren't seen in nature, or because they have bad outcomes, long and short term?
Because of their affect on the bone and long term outcomes.
