- The only real mistake of this run happens in 6-1 where I melee an enemy.
That time loss is negligible when you consider:
I got good luck in Stage 1
I got the engine pattern from Hulkinator
I got the Truck fight quick kill
I got Stage 8 clip first try
I got a clean shieldless Zeed kill.
All of that on a run where I cleaned up the big mistake of Stage 7 in my last PB which was a much bigger mistake than the mistake in this run.
On top of all that, I executed all the recent new routing changes in the run perfectly save for the one guy in 8-1 (which is even more negligible as I only lose maybe .1 seconds for this).
I have pushed myself to the limit with this game. I do not think I have anywhere else to go with it. We're at the point where all I can save is frames in this run with every split so I can safely say that I am happy with this run and as such...I am done with this game and moving on.

I completed it once in my life. It took around 1.30 hours to finished it :-(
My man at 3:43 while murdering a boss in two hits while not looking at the screen, talking about how something else is merciless

I have this on 6-pak i like how you playing this old school most gamers don't play old school games the right way they think playing it on new consoles is old school which isn't the same feeling when play it on another console
Can you explain me how it works that when you get hit you don't lose your Pow? i don't get it i thought it was just 1 hit
Normally that is the case but some enemies are exceptions to this rule and body contact doesn't do damage. Basically it's only hits that do actual damage to your health that makes you lose the POW.
The body boost at the end of stage 2 is off a ninja which has no active hurtbox on the body (only the ninja stars they throw has that). Another example is the nuns/female ninjas at the end of stage 5. This one is harder to explain but I believe if you have to be close enough to the middle of her body when doing the body boost. Too far left you get boosted the wrong way and if you're too far right, you actually do get hit and lose POW.
It's all about understanding each of the enemies and what you can get away with without taking what the game counts as damage to your health. Bosses will hurt you no matter how they hit you.
I loved this game !! took me hours to beat as a kid, I was amazed how you fight all these different bosses, it was ridicolously amazing lol, Spider-man, Man-bat, Daredevil, Shredder, Mother brain, Godzilla, Hulk, terminator, Jiraiya from Naruto, I miss the 90s

Just completed my first playthrough with savestates yet it was still carnage, can anyone tell me how the boss on 3-3 was 2-shot?..
The "POW" power-up greatly boosts your damage. That's how it gets killed quickly.
That was an amazing run but it's a shame your buddies were blabbing away in the background and not actually watching you.
Tbf, one of them (chronoon) was also streaming himself.
We just like to chill and hang out with eachother and talk about literally anything while we stream sometimes. Helps break the monotony of the grind.

You play very good! How do you kick, when you are on you knees? And how do you use you're sword? When i try to use the sword, it only throw daggerts.
The Sword only happens for a physical attack if you have the "POW" power-up which is a power-up that boosts your damage (and a power-up you lose of you take any damage). Without it, you will end trying to attack the enemy with a small dinky dagger.
The low kick on the hand just requires being close enough to a hittable target (you will only do a kick if you don't have the "POW" power-up.
