Thank you for showing everyone over the passed few videos how beautiful and amazing it is to be here in Maine! Much love
Dude’s truck has bigger mud flaps than my ex-gf. Her meat curtains could double as the batwing! I call her my Xbox.
You are a legend brother. It’s amazing how with fishing it never gets any less exciting no matter how many fish you have caught before. Always an awesome experience hooking into a good fish.
Absolutely love this type of content. As someone without a boat seeing these types of missions pay off gives me hope and motivates me to as your saying goes keep fishing never stop.
Jon this probably doesn’t matter to you but when I was considering going to college in Maine and I got accepted into Maine College of Art you had just published your first Maine send. I ate up every single video you shot in Maine and eventually the day came that I got to go myself. I have also long been a fan of the morning tide crew and I began to fish the rocks as soon as I got to Maine. I am so elated that you published a video trying it out and I want more. You should try to catch some other species from the rocks as well just to change it up. A harbor pollock catch and cook from the rocks would be very welcome in my eyes. Tight lines.
do you know jon has a series he did with CAvy and Briggs called on the rocks. I think it was his first down under series, Its in the Jon B channel playlist. REALLY worth the view !!!
THANK YOU! nobody does fishing on youtube quite like you. Cinematography is unmatched and every video is consistently great quality.
Sure someone has mentioned this, but there's also a microscopic chance of catching a sea-run brown trout off the rocks in Maine! Great stuff Jon!
@@nickk88285 chances are there but they are federally endangered so you are not allowed to target them. Also not supposed to take them out of the water at all if you do happen to hook one
I fell in love with this style of fishing. The trips cavy takes every few weeks are literally my dream trip. Maine is pretty far, but Tennessee has some good striper fishing.
How could anyone not enjoy more videos like this. When I lived in southern California from 1969 to 1994 I loved fishing from jetties and rocks along the pacific coast. Mike gentry Arkansas. 🙏🎣
OMG, I recognized mount desert island. Been to those cliffs before hiking cadillac mountain a few years back. IT IS one of the most beautiful areas I seen east of the rockies!! Even ate at the same restaurant, Archie!s! AND i love the interaction you have with your family. THANKS, loved the view!!
This is my new favorite. It show the struggle when true angler that grind and find fish in all weather plus any conditions. Plus I like how this format is like a never stop tour. Hopefully you do one for the USA because fishing on that cliffs is a gem that most people don’t know
Definitely more of this please. Fish plum island at the mouth of the Merrimack river! Saw many 50 inchers and even sturgeon absolutely flying out of the water
Joppa flats is one of the coolest places to fish on the east coast. Sight fishing for big girls never gets old!
wow, this is crazy to me cus I remember when I first came across ur channel back in the day where you had a few thousand subs, now you're at 1.7 mil and have a child. congrats dude! hope your progression never stagnates
"This is why you need to keep fishing and never stop." Another great video. Right place, right time, with the stripers and birds. It's awesome that your day worked out that way.
Nothing better than a nice striped bass after grinding to get a bite. Keep fishing jon never stop
Time to learn the bucktail the best lure for land base saltwater fishing in the north east. If you can master it you'll catch a ton of fish.
Great video! I've lived in the beautiful state of Maine for most of my life, and the fishing has rarely not been good. No matter where you go, you'll hook something if you know what to throw. You are my inspiration for my fishing content Jon, glad you appreciate our state.
Love the Maine trips, so much variation in all the fishing sessions!!!!
We Aussies are blessed to live on the coastline of the ocean we get tuna kingfish bonito snapper all form the rocks we all so get striped and black marlin from the rocks around mid to south coast of the state of NSW 👍💯🔥
I do a lot of rock fishing in Australia. Great to see what it’s like over in the states. Maine has some gorgeous environments.
the fact i saw you in fredericton last week at a baitstore and youre still just constantly uploading shows the grind. keep up the great work jon love the content
Thank you for showing people the right way to get a lobster roll! Amazing video man, the editing is 10/10! Love the tenacity you bring to fishing.
I would love to hunt for striped bass, but sadly i live in Denmark, so i have to try and feel the joy through UA-cam, its not really the same, but you do a good job, showing us the emotions, that comes with catching these fish. Thank you for the inspiration.
Yeah Jon💪🏼💪🏼 that's the kind of fishing I've been wanting to see you do for so long man!! I watched those episodes with you, @cavy and @briggsy so many times. They were top tier legend stuff.
Thanks for putting this together. This got me in my feels man.
Tight Line Love🎣😍 from the Bahamas 🇧🇸🙋🏽♂️
watched again, ANOTHER REALLY FANTASTIC NARRATED AND FILMED, action packed video. wish could hit the like button again. BTW, did anyone else hear what was probably Mila ''s first words on UA-cam? "Da da" how appropriate!!!
I would love an update on the Maine pond on your land. How are the stocked brookies doing?
Jon b shore fishing for Striper.. yeah best videos ever!
I absolutely love the story telling, the fishing, and the beauty of the nature you fish in
Maine is defienitlly on my bucketlist of places to fish and for sure stripped bass is on my bucketlist of fish to catch. Love the video, thank you so much. Cheers and congrats on catching such beautiful fish, patience is a virtue and often rewarded. 😀👍👏❤️
You need to invite the rest of the original Googans up. It seems like you are the only one who still has the love of fishing in his soul. Keep fishing: Never stop.
Great video - can't believe how big those stripers were! Hopefully we get a Camp Claw pond update soon... 😊
I love your saltwater videos!! Please do more!
Vids are the best and most authentic I swear.
Watched a good bit of your videos and this one is easily in my Top 5-10 favorites. Keep filming, never stop!
Need a jon b X morning tide part 2
I loved the first one
Like if you think they should do another trip together🙏🙏🙏
Make a series out of this! Striped bass are absolute unique fish! 😇
Been watching you since I was 12 I’m turning 21 this December, you are a reason I fell in love w fishing a lot more then I was, I have a bucket list jus like you did and one day I’ll check em all off💪
you by far have the best outdoor channel been folllowing you forever, and the quality of your videos get better and better every video it seems
This reminds me of fishing from the rocks on the coast of Northern California, Organ or Washington State. It can be very exciting for sure. Great video Jon.
Jon when he hooks a fish: “MASSIVE ONE ON, BIG FISH”
Jon when the fish gets in: “small little guy here”
Awesome video! I've said it before and I'll say it again, you NEED to come up to the Miramichi river in May! Catching dozens if not hundreds of stripers in a day is common, and witnessing them spawning all around you is an experience all in itself
Awesome Man.. I rember fondly when I was young fishing on the cliffs.. The suspense was just next to none.. I just never knew what I might actually snatch on the line.. I was always terrified id catch a shark or somthing I wouldnt be able to handle and get pulled off the cliff.. Also the crashing waves down below kind of puts you in a trance simply at the sheer power of nature... Its dangerous, I might slip.. I might never be found again.. I might catch somthing here I wont be able to handle.. I was always a bit freaked out but at the same time just loved the experience for how raw it always was..
We're going back to Maine in a few weekends. Thanks for the inspiration!
That’s was awesome never seen that done before. Maybe a new thing on my bucket list
the drone footage is dope, it would also be cool to catch a drone shot of the fish striking the lure… as always great content man 👍🏼
You should go to Bath Maine and catch them in the river with the huge navy destroyers in the background!
i swear, Jon always has that A1 production and content 🤯🤯
Keep these kinds of videos coming!! This type of fishing is what 90% of us are doing.
Great video, rock fishing is massively popular in Australia and I do my fair share. Some of those spots were SKETCHY to say the least. Stay safe while you are out there, its actually required by law to use a lifejacket in most states here now (in Aus). I would strongly encourage you to pick one up if you keep at it because they will save your life if you end up in the drink.
Loved the video. Definitely would like to see more videos like this!
@Jon B. hi , respect from Lithuania , from Angler to Angler , you do this because you love it ! I've been fishing since 2008 , never kept a fish to eat in my life ! Its a pleasure watching your content . No clickbait , no bull*shit , just straight up love of fishing ❤💘💘If there were more anglers like you in the world , the world would be a better place !
Maine is very beautiful. Glad you got some awesome quality stripers...Keep up the great work Jon !!!!
Great video. Definitely cool to watch you guys fish for them on the East Coast .i live on the West Coast and enjoy fishing for them here .i do the same look for the birds there is always fish.
If you go back to Acadia fish bubble pond. Tons of brookies in crazy scenery.
Maine is awesome! My wife is from there... my last 2 trips, I fished Little Sebago Lake, caught a 4-5 pounder off the dock, and caught 28 Smallies, just walking the bank of the Penobscot in Veazie... Ned on a Shaky head= smashfest!
Awesome video Jon! Those striper fight hard, this looks really fun! Definitely would like to see more videos like this.
Bro every video you post is high end movie quality editing. Music to lighting to everything is perfect and deserves awards!!! Idk how many editors your have or if you do it your self but it is absolutely insane and is some of the highest quality videos every on UA-cam. Keep up the insane work!
I won’t say where you are but I work for the Maine Dot and I work on that bridge!
Thank you for bank fishing videos even tho your a big timer with a sick boat we appreciate it sir

great video, i really enjoyed this one. I need to get back out there and fish! Still very much a novice, but trying to learn.
what an absolute mondo!!
I lived in Portland for a few years. Loved it. Don't miss some river salmon fishing when you get the time during the runs. And swing through Portland sometime. Great food there
Jon always giving us good quality videos 🔥
Broooo!!!! I been waiting for a video like the Cape Cod one!!!! Hell yea!!!!! 🤙🏻
Hell yeah I saw another jon b vid and I knew it would be a banger and yes you fs needa do more vids like this it was fire
From the “area” and you know new Englanders are wicked secretive about their fishing spots…your edits have been dope..sick…so freakin amazing…good stuff dude. I’m in Maine for with a week off work and gonna try for some saltines…keep fishing never stop!!!!
Find the bait, find the fish!!
Great part of Maine. Hope you’ve had a chance to explore Acadia and all it has. Awesome video!
Love this you slayed it in this video
“Something about catching fish on the bank!”
“Something about losing fish on the bank!” Took me out!! 😂😂😂
Love the video and quality put into it
Very well done mon Charley 🎉🎉🎉🎉 félicitations
Great video! You should come out to the Westcoast and fish the coastline here. It's very rocky and remote looks almost identical to Maine. Lots a great fishing for big ling cod, rock fish, Cabazon, etc.
My favorite video of yours so far!
Love the vids man need more!!
Rock fishing/clif fishing is the best that’s my go to!
Bass are awesome , I love how everytime you said “big fish”😂😂😂😂
Another amazing video as always, well wishes to you and your family!
this guy reminds me of my dad when he was younger
You NEED to fish for king salmon from the bank. They’re so strong, you will NOT regret it
Saw your brick on the path in West Dundee! Live right there! You the Man! You are blessed.....
Would love to see more videos like this
I’m glad too see someone else does that thing with puddles 👍👍😎😎
Really great video. Thank you. This is problbly my style of fishing. As light as possible - just go play with some lure on my way from work for an hour or so to clear my head. Boat is not exactly something I would like to cary while comuting to work :-D. Catching fish from the boat is great, but I problbly enjoy more of that exploration side of fishing. We do not have see or ocean so I canot explore the shores, but explore the countryside not by roads and paths, but by rivers and streems is fun for me :-).
fishing from the rocks is sooo much fun! my dad and i would go every weekend!
Living the dream Jon!
Please make the same content. Absolutely love shore fishing.
That was awesome, love to see some more. Need to let Calob catch a couple bigguns ..
Love these kinds of videos!!!!
Keep them coming, kid !🎣🎣
@OfficialJonB.-
JB/ WOW you really mentioned me ! I won !
What did i Win ??
Can’t wait till the NB video
Although I will admit the Australian guys hit it hard , I think you might want to do some research into Surfcasting. This has been part of east coast fishing since forever .
In RI where I live we used to have fish stands that the clubs put up way back in and around Newport and other coastal areas.
There are tons of great books like , A Season on the edge . The art of Surfcasting , Multiple books by John Skinner . Plus Surfcasting around the Block by Dennis Zambrotta. Read up , gear up , get hooked and I'll be more than happy to share a tide with you. Fall Run and False Albies will be here soon.
Drive the beaches and chase some Albies it's something else.
Tight lines Jon .
Brian.
last three years of striper fishing the Boston area I have not gotten a single bite. Keep on pushin' Jon!
Family friends own Archies! awesome to see you stopped in for a quick bite!
That was Epic! Those Stripers fight so hard even the smaller ones! 👍 💪 🐟 🎣
Amazing video. One of the best in a while
Finally dude. I was wondering when you'd fish the coast. We've got plenty of striper up here. Can easily get into a 40 pounder if you fish hard enough.
Love the vids keep up the good work
Yes more of this, good vid
Glizzys for all love the bank fishing videos!
I think I speak for every angler when I say that your videos capture some of the most authentic fishing moments. From the frustrations of not getting bit to the determination of figuring out just how to make it work! Ever since my grandfather passed, I've had to go fishing by myself most times and even though it's not as fun as having someone there, it's better than not fishing! I appreciate every upload and you deserve all the success in the world. It may not seem like it, but you do a lot more for people than just entertaining and educating! Jon B. thank you for keeping my fishing spirit alive and thriving, KEEP FISHING - NEVER STOP!!!
Couldnt agree more. These vids are the Bar. The highest standard for other fishing youtubers to follow.
Sorry for your loss, brother.
sorry for your loss, and I agree with you he makes mt day with every uploadtoo, and deserves all the more views !!!
Same thing happened to me after my grandad passed it wasn’t even the same fishing but like you said it’s better to be fishing than not fishing at all
Dude I was literally just going to say something like this! As he was pulling that striper out you can just feel the joy. Get's me inspired to KEEP FISHING and NEVER STOP!
