ppl are mad that he didn't just tell the entire audience "hey guys btw here's a very intimate detail about my personal life" like?? I feel like that shouldn't be expected of ppl. My take is nobody would give af if it wasn't with another man and they're just using the "He lied!! He's Fake" thing as an excuse for blatant homophobia
You're so right homie, it's honestly wild that people feel like they're entitled to every single detail about someone's life because they enjoy their content
he knew what he was doing, I’d be held accountable for not disclosing my shady past so why does he get a pass? especially when his main audience is impressionable boys/young men all these top streamers are lowkey grooming and it’s the grossest thing
He did take accountability. He went live in front of 70k+ people and let them know it was him. This is also NOT grooming, nor should it be confused with that. It's an unfortunate situation that it was leaked in the first place, but telling his community of impressionable children/young adults that he has this content out there rather than trying to hide it is much worse. Instead of being mad at sketch for living a life prior to streaming, redirect your frustration to the people that leaked it and keep posting it online for all these kids and young adults to see if that's your true concern.
@@HeyItsLoser why do teachers get fired when found out for making of page? It’s 2 worlds not ever supposed to clash. Either be for kids or for adult content, classic grooming however you try to word it
That's just a false dichotomy, when you're streaming you don't have a real way to choose your audience based on age. There are no restrictions besides having them click a "Yes" or "No" button to prove they are 18. Either way it's not as if he was promoting the content, so there's no influence for anyone to actively seek it out and watch it. Also to compare streaming with being a teacher is wild. One job is entertainment, and the other is a government profession designed to educate masses of children. You're comparing apples and oranges like they're one in the same. And if that's the case, you shouldn't despise sketch for trying to hide the only fans when there are streamers out there with similar audiences who actively promote their own pages on their socials.
@@HeyItsLoser you’re right, being a streamer isn’t a real profession so it shouldn’t be held to professional standards but in real life it’s trashy behavior that you’re definitely getting fired for and maybe even sued by your employer for non disclosing. No amount of save face videos will help. Apple oranges whatever any “adult that influences kids” should be vetted thoroughly and any devious behavior should ban them from being able to, if you want to argue otherwise then you don’t have the safety/protection of our most innocent in mind
@cosmic1023 I'm not arguing that i don't think people with influence should be held in a critical light, especially when millions of people see them and look up to them. But what I am saying is that it's pretty apparent that sketch is a changed person considering he hasn't made more explicit content and was doing all he could to prevent people from finding out. Plus the content was on a site where you have to PROVE your identity of being over the age of 18 and was stuck behind a paywall. The only way anyone found out that it was sketch was having to have been on the site, payed for it, and then posted it for free online for everyone to see. Once again, do not mistake their role in this. Sketch does not have to disclose that information to his audience, and all precautions were taken to make sure people didn't find it. It would be different if he had the link to it in his bio or something. I'm not going to demonize a former addict who had fallen on hard times and did what he thought he had to do to get by, especially after he recognized, owned up and apologized.
Love sketch and always will if this is the worst thing he does
Exactly
