This story is gonna sound very zoomer but bare with me, I didnt have money for a nintendo console. My first pokemon game was Pokémon Brick Bronze (yes the roblox game). And as person who only watched pokemon content but never played I was pretty bad at it. There was a particular encounter where my ass was getting beaten to oblivion because I didnt level up enough and had horrible moves on every one of my measly lvl 30 team members and thats when a random lvl 50 Absol shows up to save my ass. Ever since that day and many emulated (im still not paying for a nintendo console) games later my main objective is get a shiny Absol in my team in every run. So yeah, I love Absol.
