I was at paliton beah last July 2022 and at dagsa last August 2023. The place of my ancestors.So nice being there. I love Siquijor island cause I once a student at Siquijor State College, Larena Siquijor.

If you need a chill and healing Vibe go to Siquijor..... a small Province with lots of places to go..... the food is superb but not Pricey even for tourist......love to comeback there....

It’s only one side of the island that is crowded like that just like in Phuket In Thailand,everyone complains about Phuket being too crowded and too much traffic and the beaches being so packed.But wen u go on the north side of Phuket it’s entirely different so what this tells me is everyone is going to the same areas and doing the exact same thing as each other.Just avoid what everyone else does 🤔😁.

Sa huli ang pagsisisi talaga pag d macontrol yong saang saan na paglagay ng mga hotels at resto at sa huli maging untidy yong lugar. Experience na ngayon ng Boracay kasi dahil sa pabayaan nag mukhang squatters na at hindi organize napakagulo kaya ang rehabilitation ang tagal pa yata matatapos. Dahilan din yong may mga owner ng property matitigas din ulo wala din naman sila choices dahil government na kaaway nila at mapipilitan talaga sila gibain sa masasakop ng rehabilitation. D nako happy sa province namin na kong saan ang Boracay.

Siquijor should maintain the cleanliness , ban illegal drugs , ban prostitution , avoid overpricing specially food and drinks......and hopefully regulate the number of tourists coming in to avoid overcrowding.........sustainable tourism is good........for the locals and economy of the province of Squijor...........
The town should have ordinance not to build shanties along the road. Tourist spots should have no trashes and the colors of buildings should be neutral just like Vegan city where maintained by Architects and designers.
You’re kidding. Obviously you have not explored Siargao which is a bigger island with it’s own domestic airport. Siquijor is smaller but still a beautiful island.
Siquijor is more habitable than Siargao! Siargao will frequently be battered by typhoons. Siargao should not have been developed as residential for Filipinos. It is best kept as a tourist area.

What's nice about the beach? First of all it's too small, and it's over crowded. Except for the white sand i guess? IMO Puerto Galera is way better and cheaper. Pls. enlighten me.

It is nice to see foreigner enjoying our beaches. But i notice the Paliton beach has algae , probably because of sewage problem. It is time for the local government to police and improve the facilities. Don't waste the chance and opportunity of being great.
The sea coral should be replace along seashore, put or dump in the deepest area , it's going to thicker and thicker, that area will be useless anymore😂
what i miss most in siquijor is the quiet with only the sounds of waves and coco trees. So good for the soul.

Punish those that don’t obey the laws. Filipinos are known to be friendly so don’t allow overcharging tourist or they’ll lose their business license.
