The thing that made Dr. Curry’s testimony about BPD/Histrionic disorders so powerful is that for the rest of the trial, with Heard’s testimony and evidence, it validated Dr. Curry’s conclusions!
Yes! Also, as a female, I felt like she brought awareness to narcissistic abuse. My spouse, who was male, behaved similarly to her, down to her wording in the recordings. He would also tell people I did things to him that he did. This trial and these diagnosis helped me understand him.
There’s literally thousands of papers published on the long term effects of DV in women - drug and alcohol abuse, mental illness, risk of suicide…. Almost nothing for men
I totally agree. Even now you see adverts for issues that the companies aim/direct at girls and women. But these issues also affect men too. It's time we stopped thinking that 'As they're men' they're perceived as the stronger sex'. That they should feel shame or that it's an attack on their masculinity if you come foward and say this also happened to me. I have told my sons that it's ok to show emotions, cry and to talk through their thoughts and fears. In doing this my hope is when they're in a relationship. It can be healthy and balance both emotionally and physically.
Totally agree , that's what matters as men are abused to and men that are honest about the abuse ...are quite often ignored ! Thanku Johnny and his legal team and wonderful expert witnesses and even his everyday life witnesses . ♥️🙋
@Joe Felix the book The Wisdom of Psychopaths is by Dr Kevin Dutton. most likely autocorrect strikes again 🙄 Also another book by the same author The Wisdom of Psychopaths: What Saints, Spies, and Serial Killers Can Teach Us About Success.
To me the biggest difference in JD and AH's testimonies came down to this: Johnny came across as someone desperate for the TRUTH to come out. Amber came across desperate for you to take her side and IGNORE the truth.
That's so true. And the other huge difference of Johnny never once claiming to be perfect. He admitted having substance abuse issues, and that other things happened. But with Amber? Not one ounce of accountability for anything. It could all be summed up in two words with her............"Because ..............Johnny."
I am no Johnny Depp fan, and this trial got me got curious about him so I watched videos of him being interviewed and just interacting with other people from 20, 30 years ago. The way he talked then was exactly the same as he did in court.
@@isobelswan they're saying he was open and honest and being himself (how he always behaves/talks), showing he wasn't acting or putting on a show for the court like AH was
@@isobelswan That his baseline never changed in all of those years... he's the same today as he was, 20, 30 years ago. AH, on the other hand, was all over the place.
@@isobelswan The conclusion is that he was being himself. As opposed to putting on an act for the court. For example, some people said he spoke so slowly because he's lying, meaning to give himself time to carefully think what to say before he opens his mouth. But if you watch interviews etc to compare you find that that's just his normal way of speaking. Slow, measured, thought out words, occasional stuttering..
Filming it was a good thing. Had people seen her in court in the UK they would have known long ago who and what she was. An abuser. The victim, JD, needed the world to hear his voice and not have it hidden by fake media and AH and her PR team.
The UK trial was against The Rag, not against Amber Turd. Plus it was a judge trial not a jury one, with a judge who before the trial had Amber Turd for diner and who's son worked for the actual rag or some other Rupert Murdoch company. Corruption or at least strong bias in favor of The Rag and Turd went on without a doubt. If that is the way the UK justice system works, i just hope i'm never caught up on a UK court even if it is just to visit, much less in a actual trial case.
It is so frustrating to see many main stream media orgs continue to peddle Ms. Heard's false narrative and refuse to recognize Mr. Depp as an abuse victim. This is the hypocrisy I consistently see. The post trial interview with Savannah Guthrie was heavily edited to completely change the context and actual meaning of Ms. Heard's answers.
I was married to an AH type very briefly.I actually thought she would stab me to death in my sleep in the end.It all contributed(together with my own foolishness and substance abuse) to a mental breakdown and severe depression.Happily my Amber is long gone and i am long moved on.
Good for you! Unfortunately, I think we all end up having a go-around with an Amber Heard at least once in our lives. Maybe it's a necessary life lesson we all need to learn.
I am glad you were able to escape that toxic relationship. The Me Too movement should learn to be fair when it comes to abuse and accept that it should not be limited to a gender. They are just activists for a specific agenda.
@@nz630 You are completely. Wrong. First "is" the MeToo movement? It is just all women who have faced sexual harassment and sexual violence in any area of life. From women being thrown out of sectioni 8 housing because they refuse to be forced to have sex with the land lord, to girls in 8th grade being chased by 8th grade boys grabbing at their breasts and crotch. To a young woman carrying shopping home being chased by guys in a truck, shouting at her, stopping and trying to pull her in. ANd to, yes, the women who are raped by their partner - the person statistically most likely to rape and murder any woman. It has happened to virtually EVER woman who has EVER lived. MOST women at some point, especially in teenage years, ends up feeling like even walking down the street isn't safe. But this has just been mostly ignored. Who does one speak to about such problems when they are problems that happen every where every day. There is AN authority to go to. There is A cure. It is a centuries long world wide systemic problem. THAT is what MeToo is about. Men suffer DV sure. The people most apt to be sympathetic and understanding of this are...guess who...the women who have experienced it.. Because they understand how insidious it can be, and how much of it is based on prior emotional abuse and control. But the situations of men and women in the world are NOT even distantly analogous. In the US , for example, every single day 3 women are murdered by their partner or ex partner. Whereas men are murdered by men - and not ones who are their partners. Men do not experience anywhere near the sexual harassment on streets, at workplaces, in their apartment buildings. Men do not experience anywhere near the sexual violence or the rape that women do. Men do not have a centuries long, world wide problem. btw: I'm not a Johnny Depp fan. I'm left wing. Female. I managed to get out of an abusive marriage. And I think Amber Heard lied every time she spoke. I believe absolutely that Mr Depp was abused physically, emotionally, and psychologically. And if it hadn't BEEN for this abuse he would not have had the substance issues he did. I believe that Mr Depp had and probably has PTSD as a result of what he experienced. And one of the reasons I have come to really respect Mr Depp is that he NEVER, never ONCE, said that MeToo is wrong headed or biased. He has never ONCE said that domestic violence against women isn't a problem. Just as I loathe Heard for using the horrors that other women have experienced just for her financial gain, I have contempt for those who are trying to make use of Mr Depp's horrible experience to push THEIR agenda of misogyny or denial of the depth of the worldwide problem of violence and sexual violence against women.
So was I, but mine was the husband. Very hard to watch the trial, but compelling! Didn't know it wasn't my fault until years into the marriage. So happy to be divorced, but left me with depression, ptsd, fibromyalgia, anxiety, insomnia etc. That's what happens when you stay. All my fault of course. 🤷♀️
@@angelaclark129 Me, just the same. A husband. He had everyone convinced I was crazy, even my family, who didn't even like him. Depression, Check. Insomnia, Check. Chronic fatigue, Check. Anxiety, Check. Ptsd..my daughter pointed that one out to me. I have to sleep with with Netflix or UA-cam or a talking book on to stop the nightmares. In my case it was my daughter that got me out. She was just 2 years old, but he'd started in on her. It's 18 years I left him, and we moved , we FLED to a different continent. 18 years, he is still stalking both of us. One attorney who did commentary on the trial, a woman, put it very well. She said that for the thousands of people who have lived through it, hearing those tapes was triggering. Heard thought abused women would ber shield. She'd use our suffering for her cash grab. And a lot of the world thought we'd all be on "her team". But those tapes. We all recognized what we hearing instantly. I've locked and barricaded myself in bathrooms in the US, the UK, Spain, Germany. When I hear Mr Depp talking about hiding in the bathrooms, I know absolutely who is being abused and who is the abuser. I hope you will sleep better with time. It does get better.
Making this televised was probably the best idea the Depp team had. She literally couldn't control herself, smirking and laughing - pretending to be upset one second, and then laughing and passing notes the next. Then we got to hear her trumped up "version" of the events, and it really brought to light just what a dangerous deranged psycopath that woman is. I'm really not happy that all of this is not being taken more seriously, considering what she claimed happened, the man could have gone to prison for years if she had played this even more deviously than she did. And that is the crazy thing, we are all very lucky that she truly IS a shit actress, and that her "mountains of evidence" is all as pathetic and fake as it is. And that it was leaked, and the world got to see it. Cause my god, Depp took a hit but it is NOTHING compared to what she actually wanted and tried to do.
@Uh_Oh_ Agree 💯% !! Also - A lot of the evidence was made public during the UK trial - Depp vs Sun - in which AH was NOT A CLAIMANT, so SHE DIDNT WIN ANYTHING as she & Elaine like to proclaim. 🙄🙄🙄
There was no harm to victims being believed in this case. On the contrary, if you're a legitimate victim, you're not Amber Heard, you're Johnny Depp. This was justice being done for a victim.
Amber's tone of voice changed between Elaine and Camille. When Elaine questioned her she was soft and tried forcing emotion. Faced with questions from a strong minded successful woman her tone went to assertive and angry
I have had the BPD diagnosis myself, and from what I saw of the trial evidence, it seems far more likely than PTSD. BPD is extremely distressing to the sufferer, but IMO BPD (or any other personality disorder) is no excuse for abusing someone. If you cannot maintain a stable relationship then you should avoid intimate relationships for a while, and focus on DBT etc until you have better control. This disorder is very much a case where misery shared is misery doubled for both partners. You've got to look out for yourself first.
Thank you for sharing that..I agree but she is also a narrccist they live for this..My husband who passed away was my abuser unfortunately he got a fatal diagnosis and I stayed and took care of him until the end..But I am now free of his abuse.. But that was my choice.
@@LoudLilDucky yes, this is C-PTSD, which they couldn't use in the trial because it's not in the DSM yet, but Dr Curry mentioned it in the rebuttal as part of her report. CPTSD has different symptoms and treatment than PTSD, even though they're both about trauma.
I think your assessment of BPD with relationships are spot on. I just wish I could convince my soon to be ex-wife of that so she might be able to some day salvage her relationship with the children. I tried for almost 20 years. I am tired and done with her myself. Do you have any tips on how to maybe get through to someone with BPD to convince them to get help?
One of 2 ways, if the child's heart is negative she becomes another amber. If the child's heart is positive she will fight through it to be a good person in spite of her mother.
@@cilandialane3084 I hear you... but that's actually a lifetime of exhausting! I wouldn't wish a narcissistic vindictive spiteful mother on any soul especially a daughter... and daddy is not apparently 'in her life'. Narcissist mothers damage their daughters. It can take an entire lifetime to heal.. and that might be after years of pain and confusion cos you never learnt how to have healthy relationships. It's taken me 50+ years. But I knew I'd get there! 😁
@@geneivemary4234 yes, I have lived that life as well with a younger sibling. She destroyed our family. Until she dies, the family will live by her rules. To find a normal balance get away from the situation. I moved far away. You may have to lose those you love to keep your own sanity.
Yes I agree, that poor child has a very difficult life ahead of her. But I believe her decision to have a child was born from her fear of abandonment. Everyone seems to leave her! Partners and close friends! I think somewhere in her mind she told herself that her child would never leave her, at least not in the foreseeable future anyway 🤷♀️
You should not foget, that she clearly shows narcissistic traits too. - Deflecting Blame to others. (Could not pay the Donation, because Johnny), - Fragile Ego ("I got myself that role by auditioning") - Manipullation / Saying, what ever she thinks her victim wants't hear. (See the Interview "I Still love him") - Changing the topic or distracting, when ever things get uncomfortable. (The Scissorhands comment from the Interview is a good example) - Gaslighting (In one of the recordings she says "I'm sorry, you feel, like I attacked you") - A "I'm better then you" Attitude towards everybody. (Best demonstrated when she was asked about the two pictures of spilled Wine. She went on to confidently lecture the Jury about Meta-Data, despite the fact, that everybody could see, that the pictures were the same and she had no idea, what she was talking about) - Taking others experiences/reactions and passing them for her own. Alternative projecting her reactions onto others. (There are so many cases of this. She sayed, she was hiding in the Bath from him => He was hiding there from her instead. She claims he assaultet her with a Bottle => She cut of his finger by throwing a Bottle at him. Says Johnny has bribed and manipulated everyone, while she presented faked evidence and denyied the obvious at any opportunity)
These are Cluster B disorders and they have a lot of crossover in symptoms. There's a fair amount of crossover between narcissistic and histrionic personality symptoms.
@@hazelangus Thanks for clearifying. I'm not a Psyhchiatrist but I had to deal with an NPD coworker in the past. So there is a bit of a bias against people like that on my side. (The guy tried to get me and several of my coleagues fired and even after he was called out and fired, he still occasionally threatens our company to this day. Its nasty.) Apologies in case I should have offended anyone though.
Nice points ST .One thing really struck me was the "deflecting blame to others".I have seen many examples of this in my life summed up as "if only someone else had done what they should have done this would not have forced me to do what i should not have done"
what did Johnny Depp’s lawyer say when he found out that Amber Heard’s “makeup/bruise kit” wasn’t made until 2017? “ Objection,Hearsay, lack of foundation.”
I truly feel this goes deeper. I feel that she planned to kill JD and become his grieving widow. When she discovered she wasn't in the will and JD wanted a post nuptial, this is right around the time everything hit the fan. she was given 21 days (though JD said she could stay longer is she needed) to evict his home - to where she is caught on recording that is the reason why she had to make everything up. the knife she gifted him..that was the straw for me that just convinced me that was her end game
Yes, I believe the "gift" was meant to be the co star in a self defence play act. And with the "evidence" collecting from a very early start, it does make me wonder if it was the plan all along.
I think Amber had already been diagnosed before the trial started. In an audio clip where Johnny is trying to get Amber to let him go so he can be with his daughter, he says something like "take your medicine". Also, I wouldn't say that Amber was a good actress, her crying was so obviously fake it was almost painful to watch. And in regards to the cameras, Amber didn't want the court case to be televised. It was Johnny who insisted on having cameras there.
I found Dr Hughes worse than Dr Spiegal. She said that she used the "He abused her" statements because by her notes she found that Amber was the victim. It was not her job to decide whether he was guilty or not. Her job was to give her testimony on Amber's mental health based on the notes and tests. Dr Hughes appeared to be a man hater as according to her, if a man gets hit by the woman, he did something to deserve it. Her job is helping women who kill their spouse to get off on self defence claims
but there is also the fact that Dr. Hughes based much of her arguments on her own research...and if she were to make different claims it would also invalidate her research
My fave part was when she got so twisted up she admitted he was the victim...but didn't even realise she'd said it. The thing is, she has done a lot of work with that law firm, she has incentive to give them what they want, not just for the pay day she got from AH but for all the future clients they'll pull her way. Oh, I also love that she said it was appropriate to run tests retroactively despite their purpose being for use while still experiencing the abuse, the fact she thinks that smokers chances of lung cancer stays the same even after they've been stopped smoking for 10+ years, and that she essentially gave AH the cheatsheet guide to what symptoms you have with PTSD (although AH still couldn't act it even though she tried to claim it verbally - I wish they'd shown that vid of her practicing a fight scene for Aquaman with a staff... where she celebrates after hitting the instructor hard enough it practically knocked him out of the room...but oh, Amber tell us more about those eggshells everyone is walking on). ...And by love I clearly mean hate.
@@rosestewart1606 an expert witness is supposed to give evidence without prejudice. Her research is geared to support the woman because that is who she always represents in court. Her main cases are getting women who murder their spouse off on self defence. She clearly stated that if a man gets beaten by a woman, that he did something first so deserved it. She then during cross when asked about why she used he/she instead of the victim or the abused stated she used it because she knew JD was the abuser. Her research was flawed because she gave Amber the sheet telling her what symptoms PTSD hold. Much of the interviews were done via zoom also. Compare that to Dr Curry who gave her tests to determine her state of mind. I have never heard an expert witness try trashing an expert witness for the other side when they have applied standard nationalised means of research the way Dr Hughes did to Dr Curry. So if she gave honest straight replies without the hatred in her face she might have helped Amber's team better. The fact it was a majority male jury and right from the off made it clear men can never be victims showing much bias toward Amber clearly shows her research was one sided.
Yo, Mr BBB, It was an absolute pleasure to be on your channel and share my thoughts. I hope it was interesting for your viewers and I hope to see some of them on my channel. Let's get another collaboration going soon, my friend.
I have been following JD for 6 years. I was curious as to why someone would go to such lengths to defame him. As I followed I could see that AH was in a process of gaslighting JD even before they were married. She is a liar. She lied in the beginning. She will lie to the end. Ah keeps on lying and will not stop no matter what.
The old adage "birds of a feather flock together" really is true. Amber Heard hired a legal team who reflected her own personality and that legal team in kind, hired professionals of the same mind set. It was a train wreck from the start.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned very much is that the people most adept and most intent upon executing a hardcore, successful at all costs, smear campaign, once they exit a relationship, are people in cluster B personality disorder group. Amber's smear campaign of Johnny, is classic borderline, histrionic and also narcissistic behavior. Sadly know it from experience. Most of the time it's such a relief to have the person out of your life that the smear campaign can't compare to the treachery of the relationship itself. However Amber went way over the top and completely ruined Johnny. He had no choice but to expose her.
AH thought JD would come into the US trial fighting. He came into court as his new and reformed self without being under the influence of AH. That was the "drug" he needed to drop! He looks so amazing and normal now! Go Johnny, Run, Be Happy!
A colleague of mine trained under Dr Spiegel (he has an academic position) She said that he was a very good teacher and a very nice, kind man. I can’t see it myself. When he was asked if he was a Fellow of the APA, he preened and looked around for acknowledgment, and that Tardive Dyskinesia when he rubbed his jaw. Magnificent!
Amber Herd provided an excellent disclosure, to a world audience, of what a malicious domestic violence abuser looks like and does. SHE is the domestic abuser. She has helped victims of dv quite a bit.
Amber said in her interview that she was being silenced but thanks to Johnny insistence on cameras, and availability on TV and media platforms, she was given the exact opposite. Her voice went far and wide, further than most actresses ever experience in a lifetime. The narcissist's dream, a full and captive audience. Unfortunately when you have such a huge arena, and the eyes of the world are on you and then you lie, you do yourself huge, irreparable damage. No she wasn't silenced by the patriarchy, she had a huge platform, but she unmasked herself and nobody liked the real Amber Heard.
That's just what I thought also. I've had some disagreements on a different forum with a couple of women who seemed to think poor Amber was victimized by that brute Johnny, and anyone who disagreed was undermining all women and playing into patriarchy, etc.etc. I doubt they watched the trial. Or understood my reasoning for disagreeing. How can they be SO sure, if they didn't watch the trial at all? We sure don't need anymore divides between people, men and women included. She was trying to be a false advocate on a platform she had no business being on.
@@cathylindeboom4494 You probably met Eve Barlow or one of her Cronies. She uses different names as well. Don't get too far into it with some of these people, they get off on upsetting folks. It's all very clear who the abuser is. People are quicker to find fault, and for huge amounts of people to stand behind and support Johnny, the world knows that he is the good kind person.
I want to know his opinion in Dr Hughes! She was a real piece of work. She got more upset 😡 about what Amber had told her than even amber did. Her hands were shaking and she was very rude. She was very clear that a man can only be a victim if its a man on man relationship of POV/domestic violence. She wouldn't even acknowledge that a man can be abused by a woman. That should've thrown her testimony out!
As a woman and a “survivor” of a particularly sinister man who was likely Cluster B and IMO likely a psychopath, I have a very different view from Amber Heard and many others. The idea that victims must speak out is generally wrong. The primary goal is to stay alive, to heal and be restored to the greatest degree possible. What does speaking out against your criminal abuser do except put yourself in further danger with your criminal abuser? I believe that putting as much distance between you and the psycho is the best plan for survival. Allow them to find something else to fixate on.
@@ThriveCollective1188 I agree!! And I too have wondered if Amber was transferring her rage about someone else on to Johnny. In my marriage I really did fear for my life & I tippy toed around my husband for fear of setting him off. Amber taunted and abused Johnny. That just isn’t behavior of a woman in fear for her life! I sure appreciate you sharing your insights.
@@ThriveCollective1188 your “just thoughts”, IMO are likely the closest thing to the truth!! I know I was my ex-husbands target for his rage against his mother. I took the punishment for the abuse his mother inflicted on him when he was growing up. AND during our marriage his mother was very abusive towards me. The double whammy. On the surface the appeared normal. They put on quite a performance to cover up their behind the scenes insanity😱
@@ThriveCollective1188 It's a widely accepted fact that David Heard, Amber's father, was arrested for running illegal (is there any LEGAL?) Dog fighting rings. He broke horses by putting his eldest daughter on board of a wild horse, which she called being his "crash test dummy". His wife was apparently his victim in DV, and his girls were certainly in constant fear of his violent, drunken rages. Look to the child to see what insane bullshit the adult is running in order to "get back" at the original abuser. And that father looks terrifying. Amber, I think modeled her own violent cruelty after him, and Whitney was her first little vic. Any ideas or knowledge on what Paige Heard died of at a youngish age? I can't find anything about it, but she was "disloyal" to Amber by apparently loving Johnny.
This is a really good point. My abusive ex and I have been separated for 8 years now. My best friend since childhood doesn’t even knows many details of what happened in that relationship. It’s still too hard to talk about.
I have a 38 year old daughter that is bipolar and border line schizophrenic. Each day can be a challenge. Right now she is on her meds and the courts have really looked at her diagnosis and tend to let her slid. She has a six year old son that I had to adopt because she abandon her son. Through the years since I diagnosed her then took her to be reevaluated to confirm she’s been in and out of jail and these mental illnesses can be so extremely different but that said I thought Dr Curry did an excellent diagnosis and she hit it right on with Amber. I loved how she calmly like your doctor spoke in layman’s terms on explaining the illness so it could be understood by everyone. When Amber got on the stand we were watching a rerun of what Dr Curry saw. I found it incredible. Watching this trial from the US and hearing the response from the UK and around the world was in agreement. Love you channel keep up with the wonderful work.
Could the knife have been more a threat than a gift, given her now proven use of household items as weapons & her continued barrage of accusations? ..‘until her/their dying day’ even?! Also the possibility of long term obsession with Johnny, prior to meeting him. Could she continue to pose a threat?
LOOK AT THE OTHER ANGLE OF THE KNIFE GIFT, IT'S THE PLAN OF THIS EVIL WOMAN! She makes Johnny Depp felt extremely miserable and depressed and hope he might use the knife to harm himself (commit suicide). Just another possibility of an evil plan by AH!
It’s my understanding that Turd and friends actually DID have a much larger finale/payday planned, culminating in JD death. Apparently, thats exactly where evidence points
Clarification for Dr. Curry: she met with Johnny Depp and his team at home for the interview because Johnny was essentially homebound due to his fame. When the interview ran past the three hour mark, Dr. Curry said she was hungry and asked if she could have something to eat and in response, Johnny ordered takeaway for everyone. That came out on rebuttal cross examination. 👍
Dr Spiegel doesn’t like to be questioned! He is one of those Drs that knows it all and don’t you dare question him! Lots of Drs are like that and I feel for their staff. He got very angry but I do agree that psychiatrist need to see their patients!
If we didn't get to see the trial then msm would of released a completely different case. Video feed showed the truth and msm still tried to lead people in a different direction. At 1 time we could believe msm fully. Now it's follow the political direction and money. Loyalty to the people and the truth is gone. I'm lucky to have seen real news in my lifetime
People seem to think this case was about Dom Vio. It wasn't. JD never brought it to court as a victim of DV. It was about clearing his name after being falsely accused of Heinous acts. The fact he was proved to be the real victim was of a consequence of the trial. Dr Hughes was also a poor unprofessional "expert" witness
one of the reasons Ms Heard was confronted about the gift of the knife could have been to make the point that, if there was actual domestic violence one would be fearful and would not make gifts of weapons to the abuser.
Great video Daniel. Loved listening to Dr Das, and hearing a professional not connected to either side and what he said, just confirmed (not that it was needed) the outcome of the trial was correct. I think the trial being televised was definitely a good decision. Apart from it showing and proving she is a compulsive liar, it also brought to light DV etc..against men and gave them a voice FINALLY.
One thing that struck me in Ms. Heard’s testimony was that she seemed, when in her “emotional” mode, to not be able to distinguish between truly momentous stuff (he dragged me by the hair, or whatever..) and smaller things (he didn’t say I looked pretty in my dress on the red carpet..[I’m paraphrasing]).But she’s in her mid-30s, Johnny Depp is not her “first rodeo,” and she hasn’t come to terms with the fact that other people, and especially domestic partners, never say exactly what you want them to about your clothes or hair. They may compliment you a lot, but not at the time, and in the way, that you dream up. And THAT kind of thing (her dog stepping on a bee, also) seemed to carry the same emotional weight when she was testifying as being beaten and threatened…
JD went in on her multiple time verbally and shredded her which is actually what her feelings. The things he supposedly did never brought true emotion forward because it didn’t happen; it was just when she talked about things he said during and argument that hurt her feelings were the only emotions brought forward. She is a grown ass woman in an argument you’re going to have mean things said and you’ll say mean things because you’re mad.
Thank you Daniel and Dr Soham Das for explaining your options on the Depp vs Heard trials. I really appreciate both your inputs. Personally, I feel Amber Heard has destroyed her own credibility whereas Johnny Depp has shown he is human and has his own faults. Any person married to Amber Heard I presume would most likely develop similar problems, I think the future will bear that out even though the next person will be aware of her manipulating skills and traits that come with with someone with a borderline personality like a Covert Narcissist.
Call me stupid but she had ALL the free speech she wanted. And STILL DO! The world listened when she filed for divorce and TRO. She was given the Washington Post to publish her opinion. She was showered with interviews, ambassadorships and publicity events. She was given her time as a witness at the UK trial. Most importantly, she was given the same amount of time as her alleged abuser to make their case in court. She even got a prime time interview even after being found to have defamed an innocent man with ever changing testimonies, and questionable evidence. What else does she want?
Very insightful. I've worked many cases involving persons diagnosed with BPD or HPD, and they are extremely challenging. And as I understand it, these disorders tend to be refractory to treatment. That would be a good point to cover in a future video with the doctor.
I lived with a AH type for ten yrs. I knew she would be in trouble when crying on the stand. She wouldn't have the social, verbal or physical cues to know when to stop crying. Without someone comfiting her and telling her to stop crying, she simply tried to remember to cry when its sad and stop crying when its not. It ended up looking like she had a on/off switch, very odd. Ps I once said to my ex "I didn't believe your tears, not for one second" (I did actually, but I was just at my wits end with her and so I just said it) Anyway I was expecting another flood of tears but oh no. She instantaneously exploded into a full blown rage with such hatred that i was genuinely shocked. Looking back she thought i'd just seen through her disguise and she wasn't happy. In truth, she had just ripped of her disguise and shown me her true colours. Oh, how we live and learn.
I’ve had a similar experience. 13 years. The last time I come put up with all the cheating in lies and crazy making baiting behavior she went back into I love you why won’t you believe me extreme crying throwing herself on the ground pulling her hair out and hyperventilating. She literally could not breathe. I calmly said I am not buying it this time. In an instant her behavior changed. Death stares then rage. I could not believe in an instant a literal instant the emotions changed even the hyper ventilating stopped instantaneously. It is an unreal experience
Miss Heard did not highlight female abuse , what she did highlight is narcissism. That has helped me enormously in my relationship to identity what the problem is . That, inturn , is helping to identify how to deal with the problem .It seams a narcissist cannot change , but how I respond and deal with the situation can . My narcissistic partner is male, but the traits are incredibly similar. Already , my mental health is improving due to what I have learned , learned what to study and begun to apply a different approach to my relationship. I'm so glad this case was allowed go be live streamed because seeing and hearing narcissistic behaviour in real time has been beyond informative and helpful fo real life situations . It has literally changed my life .
The main criticism I had after Dr Curry's testimony was that nobody gave Amber Heard's team a basket full of muffins the next morning. On a different note, isn't there anything that can be done for people with Histrionic disorder? It seems Iike there can't after this conversation.
I hope her other victims find the courage to speak up. I’m very concerned about the kind of life her daughter will have, with this delusional, abusive mother.
Personally she does not come across to me as having either of those disorders, to me she appears arrogant, narcissistic and manipulative. Capable of doing anything to get what she wants. In this instance it backfired spectacularly. I did not know who she was before the trial, I had seen short clips of her online and thought she looked hard and arrogant then. I wasn't on either side at the beginning of the trial, early on though I found her evidence unconvincing and her behaviour both on and off the stand bizarre.
Dr. Spiegel was an expert witness who didn't show much expertise on the stand: He didn't accept or consider the fact that JD has been diagnosed with ADHD. He was very insistent that 60 mg Adderall isn't prescribed to adults with ADHD (on what planet is that unusual, exactly!?). JD taking 60 mg Adderall daily was substance abuse. He is also diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, and taking the prescribed medication for that was apparently also substance abuse. AH drinking like a sailor daily, using mushrooms, cocaine and her own prescription medications was somehow NOT abuse, though. And: Substance abusers are just as vulnerable to become victims of domestic abuse as they are to become abusers. They are easily gaslighted and taken advantage of. Funny how the good doctor didn't seem to know much about that either, seeing as that was his field of expertise. It was so bad, it was like watching an SNL skit - just annoying instead of funny. His discombobulated op-ed afterwards didn't help his case either...
I was surprised he said that. I went to my mom, who's a psych nurse with ADHD to confirm the high end dosage of Adderall, and she said 60mg isn't high for a daily dose.
Have you seen the UA-camrs that believe that Amber's lawyers actually got the wrong doctor spiegel? There is another doctor Spiegel whose credentials include PTSD.. and they got this quack by mistake..? I would say karma at its finest 🤣
I enjoyed this video and listening to Doctor Das describing borderline personality disorder. I have a 21 year old granddaughter who has been diagnosed with that and she has all the emotions and alcohol and drug problems associated with this disorder. It is so very sad,she said to me once that she hates the thoughts that go through her mind but once she snaps she can’t stop what comes out of her mouth. One thing is that my granddaughter isn’t physically violent but she breaks things. Very distressing for her mother who cops most of the verbal abuse. With Amber having these two disorders and being physically abusive I really hope down the track that she doesn’t start mistreating her daughter. I know it doesn’t take much to set them off.
Remember the audio we heard when JD was trying to leave to get some space and she said, “Johnny you don’t know how much stress you’re causing me right now”. She was desperate not to feel abandoned or left alone. And it seems she usually had several friends around her at any given time.
Amber can’t even comprehend the fact she breathed a whole new life into UA-cam content. And how we are still watching. With an almost morbid curiosity. She wants this to end and stop being talked about with such negativity. But my god, I can’t look away from this whole train coming off the tracks. She just keeps screeching and we just keep watching. And will till the wreck is cleaned up.
Sooooo AH did self harm ( by cutting her forearms) someone mentioned in court, and we know she abuses drugs and alcohol..... Dr Curry had her personality pegged perfectly
Fair and unbiased is she's the bully, he's the victim. She's the psychopath, he gave and gave, trying to make it work, a very caring person. She's a narcissist.. Johnny is genuine, authentic and caring
Thank you for your insight into her behavior. Agreed with the circus comment and the fact it is not over anytime soon. Altho we can hope for this to end :) Very happy for JD.
I honestly think the fact that she's got these particular personality disorders, is EXACTLY why she changed her look, feelings, hot/cold, whatever..... because she can't control it. Those traits are so dominant that it just takes over and totally controls everything about her.
This video is one of the best I have seen from you on this trial. I found Dr. Das to be very interesting and in my eyes unbiased. He was clear and offered educated opinions on both Johnny and Amber and on their expert witnesses. I have a new channel to check out! Thanks!
@@louiseevans5752 There are no meds for narcissists, they don't believe anything is wrong with themselves and won't be truthful during the psychiatric assessment. It's because of those that psychiatrists always misdiagnose them or shy away from labeling a narc because of the lengthy checklist that must be checked on all boxes before they will give a NPD diagnosis.
Fortunately it is possible to diagnose, even when they lie and dissemble. But unfortunately there is no treatment except therapy and they don't want therapy.
Dr Curry's explained how she diagnosed AH in detail. I'd watch that again. I believe narcissistic TRAITS are a big part of that HPD. So I'll go with Dr. Curry's result rather than some opinion on a comment.
Exactly! I think so too. I dare say most people who have experienced someone with NPD recognized it in Amber. One big difference is, as this dr is also explaining, borderliners tend to react impulsively. Narcissists are able to plan and execute long term manipulation..as we know Amber did. She is even on tape stating this to Johnny.
Thank you Sir for sharing your knowledge of the British court system. I am such an Anglophile it hurts. I live in Utah and aprecia-te both you gentleman’s willingness to share.😁 I always got the feeling she would be a bunny boiler just as in Fatal Attraction.
I hope your Anglophilia has not been misplaced. I would like to see the UK trial revisited, that would suit my British sense of fair play, but in recent years I have not been convinced of that quality's existence.
11:12 her own psychologist also diagnosed her with bpd and histrionic in 2011 & a second psychologist she was seeing, also diagnosed her with both in 2016 as well. So she was diagnosed long before the trial.
"... and cut" - that is what I expected to hear after her over-acted performance directed to the jury before turning back to face the lawyers devoid of the extreme emotions displayed just milliseconds previously. She is not a Meryl Streep or Jodie Foster class of actor nor is she a great/very good supporting actress that you would expect for a $1+ million pay cheque. She has stepped into acting following a modelling career without the grueling preparation that other actors endure. It's the eye-candy route - stay with the well-worn shallow character tropes. What she tried to be was the writer/director/actor for her performance on the stand BUT she is neither a good writer nor good director for a real-life role. A reality writer would not have added those unbelievable 'extremes'. A director would have been constantly advised to pull-back on her performance to make it believable. IMO if she had moderated the performance & the excessiveness of the lies she would have won the verdict as the initial sentiment when she first raised the allegations of DV was with her. This court room battle was hers to lose not JD's to win (IMO).
It's interesting that while Depp was talking about casting her in the Rum Diaries, he said he had given her lots of instruction on the importance of "stillness" in acting. He recognised what a ham she could be and she obviously forgot everything he taught her.
Hmm.. as a woman who's never been abused & didn't know anything much about this case, but I did watch the entire trial live, as a Juror... before Heard got on the stand, I was 80% for JD - when AH got on stand, it was 100% for JD. Had AH tempered herself on the stand, it would NOT have convinced me. No witnesses (or Police) saw evidence of DV on Heard, so your statement is quite ridiculous.
It's because she made it all up, she never experienced it, to have a true emotional response to draw on. I do agree however that she's an extremely bad actress. There is an audio recording where she tells JD that for three years she used makeup to create bruises/injuries, photographed them, and texted people to set him up for DV. She was blackmailing him to keep him with her. When even that couldn't keep him with her, she retaliated.
I just want to thank you bcs by watching other interesting channels & hearing the way they handle this specific case I found you very intellectual educated, fair& civil, so thanks alot.
Amber owns several hand guns including a .38 Special w/no hammer & .357 Magnum (a big handgun) and is essentially a expert shooter as she claims. She goes to a gun range weekly “as a fun hobby” and sleeps w/one under her pillow. So why would she be scared of a knife, esp the large one she gifted JD with “until death” inscribed? If he wielded it, even in jest, she could easily claim “justified Homicide”.
VERY defensive!! Blurts out, "do I have to answer that, your Honor?" I thought that idiot was ON something! His mouth movements were very bizarre... Not sure where they found him but he should've been left wherever it was. Lol!!
I'm so glad that you've done this video. Whilst I'm sickened by AH's behaviour, I would in fact go as far to describe it as as despicable and utterly unacceptable it is important that we do two things; Utilise this to highlight the case of genuine DV/SA cases and survivors both male and female and; That even though we do find her actions so despicable, we can still be humans and rise above her noise and shenanigans and perhaps identify and offer help to sufferers of severe mental health sufferers like AH. JD has shown us that we can do this with dignity and come out the other side with our heads held high despite everything that's happened, knowing all he did was the right thing. Not the right thing according to him, her or another... but what is truly right in the grand scheme of things and once we can get AH to calm down, and stop pursuing ghosts, she can be treated the same as any other "rando" with a mental health issue and get some help. My "parting shot" if I can put it this way, is that any diagnosis doesn't give you a 007 licence to do what you like. It's the first stepping stone in getting the help you need so you can use strategies to connect with the world around you. If you genuinely have one of these problems, the daily frustration you face just trying to belong in the world is infuriating and anything you can use as a way to help you just do 1/10th of what other people do without even thinking about it is an absolute blessing.
Good discussion. Dr. Das made many interesting observations. One thing I would have liked to have been included was Ms. H's bizarre tactic of facing the jury when answering questions. If she were advised to do that it was very poor advice indeed. That back and forth head swivel with rapidly alternating emotional states made her look unstable and disingenuous. She may have adopted it as a tactic to woo the jury to her side with her pretty face and acted emotions but I found it distracting and further undermined her position. It made her look phony.
narcissistic behaviour disorder characterised by among other things, exaggerated feelings of self importance and a chronic lack of empathy towards others..🤔 who does that sound like..
The thing that bothers me the most about Spiegel is that many of us watching the Live Court Feed actually HEARD him & Elaine get caught on a hot mic. Why is nobody discussing if this exchange is unethical Spiegel: "I am going to lie in my testimony. Is there anything I'm not supposed to lie about?" Elaine: "No No" Elaine walks over for a legal binder & brings it back to show him which points they really need him to lie about. THAT'S how he ended up becoming another witness for IPV when he wasn't approved by the court to be one ahead of time. Luckily some TikTokers caught that & posted it. I'm glad they did because nobody has spoken about it & THAT'S enough to have had us questioning whether we really heard that or not. #AmberHeardDoesNotSpeakForMe
Dr Sohom is perfect! So well spoken, articulate, handsome... I could go on forever! I loved this collaboration and am delighted to have been introduced to this fine man!
Listening to the description of histrionic personality disorder, my sister in law was described to a tee. And God forbid someone should have a little limelight, she doesn’t care what she has to do to be in that centre of attention, she just must have it. Even assaulting a 10 yr old girl. My daughter was wearing a little bit of gold eyeshadow. She wanted to be pretty. Well, people oohed and awed. She was enjoying the attention. My SIL sent her 6 yr old son over to call her creepy. I watched her whisper to him, and he came marching over. My daughter cried. This beast grabs her by her shoulders and begins shaking her. All while being right in her face yelling at her. She was saying her boy won’t apologize… blah blah blah. It all happened so fast, I was shocked. I wish I could say I laid a beating on her. I wish I could say she was now one with the parking lot…. But I can’t. We have cut her and her looney husband out of our lives forever.
I think part of why Amber acted the way she did on the stand, is that she saw how much people loved Dr Curry, so she tried to emulate her, but she didn't realize that her role is so different that her behavior was inappropriate
@@salliegallegos918 True, however, if AH has BPD then it can explain this behaviour as those of us who have indistinct personal identity will tend to emulate the behaviour and appearance of those who we respect, admire or find attractive. We can also transition from one personality type to another fairly seamlessly to match the person being addressed. Imagine being an Englishman talking to a Welshman on your left with a slight Welsh accent only to then respond to the Scotsman on your right in a similar Scots accent, except with personality traits rather than accents. I'm not making excuses for AH but I know there may be reasons for a persons behaviour that are beyond their control and given that the "Borderline" is that between psychosis and reality the fluctuating personality may even not be perceived by the subject.
@@scoobydoodandy4296 It can explain her actions, but not excuse them. She needs help before she goes beyond what she's done to JD. She's very dangerous, because she doesn't seem to have an off switch for her anger, or the ability to empathize with the person she's hurting.
@@beccagee5905 This is a great point, There is a difference between a reason and an excuse. The word excuse is often used and implies that the offense should be overlooked because the person couldn't help it. I tried to make clear that I was not making excuses for her but was expanding on factors of BPD that were not explained by the guest Dr. This same Doctor was a guest on another podcast I have watched recently regarding a criminal case and I found him to be far more thorough in that production. I don't think this video was long enough for him to really do himself justice as a professional, the other podcast was over an hour. Incidentally, I find that knowing that I have BPD makes me more empathetic as I have to closely examine my opinion against opposition. I am often trying to see things from others perspective as I know mine can be flawed.
As I've said in other comments, I live with BPD, bipolar, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and substance use disorder (with 4+ years clean). Just because I have these disorders doesn't make me a bad person. My decisions make me the type of person that I am. Yes, I have an intense fear of abandonment and severe mood swings and did have self harming behaviors. But I also have learned to live positively and appropriately and most do. That really upsets that people don't see that. Also, with my SUD, same thing.
I agree it's your decisions you make, not the personality type/ diagnosis. Your decision was to seek help for change. Congratulations on your decision to live your best life, as any personality type should do. My own personality types didn't hurt others, only myself. I'm a people pleaser, empath, and introvert. I had to learn to say no (extremely hard for a people pleaser,) be able to face confrontations (horrible to feel possible anger,) and to realize that as an empath it was okay and necessary to recoperate from feeling people's strong emotions/feelings alone. It took me many years to understand why I was under so much stress and unhappiness, but I decided to face my fears, and then it began to fall away. Self reflection was vital to my journey.
I thought they were trying to prove Dr Curry had been unprofessional by trying to show she had given her husband details of the case. Ridiculous, hilarious and a worthy failure.
So many people seem to use the phrase, " *The average person* " As well, AH seems to use it multiple times in her defence... Is it used in reference to; A normal, intelligent person who's more in-touch with reality, as appose to a less than average or normal person who may be quite delusional or have psychiatric disorders? ... Because if AH considers herself to be an, "above average person", then genius's & prodigies should take offence... In a nut shell... Crazy people do exist, but thank goodness, they're far and few between
I have BPD, and it is the most depressing thing to have her as a mascot. Most of us work very hard to keep our emotions and manipulation under control, and for people to automatically see her when you tell them…..it’s awful. 😔
Correct me if I'm wrong, but BPD can have different personality disorders, and is not a cookie cutter diagnosis correct? I'm sure some of the traits are the same, but all are not, just as being diagnosed as a narcissist does not make them exactly alike, although they do have some of the same traits. For instance my personality type is I'm an empath and I'm an introvert, I'm not an introvert because I'm depressed or afraid of the world, it's because I feel people's emotions so strongly, that it's exhausting and I need time alone to recoperate and recover. Some empaths can understand why people are having their emotions. Sometimes I can, but not always. It's like people can sense something about me, and complete strangers will tell me about their most intimate experiences. What I'm poorly trying to say is; that there are many traits making up an individual that make them unique and different, and although we may have the same traits, we may not have others, or have different ones so that we are not exactly the same. Good luck on your journey to healing and self realization. Being honest with yourself and wanting change is key to happiness with life, and it doesn't just apply to particular personality types.
@@beccagee5905 you said it perfectly. The traits are different for everyone and they can come with different disorders attached as well. No one is the same, but they see her still. 😢 Thank you for the kind words. That means a lot. It isn’t an easy thing to live with. I hope you’re doing well and have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
A really interesting discussion, thank you for this, I really enjoyed watching it and the two of you reviewing the behaviours of both parties in the trial. Thanks for all your videos and sharing your experience across a range of legal topics.
As far as the case is concerned, I feel it was very fair and it was fairly deliberated. In regards to public opinion, that hurt her a lot because her own words and behavior proved her to be a liar. I believe she cares MUCH MORE about public opinion than she does about the courts decision.
Excellent analysis once again from BBB & very impressed with Dr Das with his measured commentary., A new subscriber to his channel. Thank goodness that the trial was openly televised & people globally can make their own conclusions. Not to be feed the MSM biased narratives. Indirectly, Amber Heard behaviours will have helped others recognise these negative traits and hopefully, help more victims and people around abusers to shine a light on abuse & psychological violence.
Great video, dont forget she has narcissistic traits too, this very much contributes to her behavior eg not accepting she lost, going after JD to get a reaction, lying, seeking revenge etc etc..
The thing that made Dr. Curry’s testimony about BPD/Histrionic disorders so powerful is that for the rest of the trial, with Heard’s testimony and evidence, it validated Dr. Curry’s conclusions!
Yep, AH put on full display Dr Curry's diagnosis.
What Amber has done is brought much more awareness for male victims of abuse. For that, I’m grateful to her.
@Joe Felix the book The Wisdom of Psychopaths is by Dr Kevin Dutton. most likely autocorrect strikes again 🙄
Also another book by the same author
The Wisdom of Psychopaths: What Saints, Spies, and Serial Killers Can Teach Us About Success.
Hide the truth.
Agreed
I am no Johnny Depp fan, and this trial got me got curious about him so I watched videos of him being interviewed and just interacting with other people from 20, 30 years ago. The way he talked then was exactly the same as he did in court.
And your conclusion was?
Yes, his personality and calmness is how he's always been! He's just an all around good guy who certainly deserves much better than that evil heifer
💯%
Yes. Agree. Now it's out openly and she and her mob can't hide it anymore. We all know WHY JD wanted it televised. We know the TRUTH, JOHNNY!
Johnny Depp’s request for a appeal in the UK was denied. I wish that could be overruled.
Just as I loathe Heard for using the horrors that other women have experienced just for her financial gain,
I have contempt for those who are trying to make use of Mr Depp's
horrible experience to push THEIR agenda of misogyny or denial of the depth of the worldwide problem of violence and sexual violence against women.
It wasn't the Depp teams idea. The judge called it and JDs team didn't object but Amber's team fought hard to have it NOT televised
She didn't want it so she could lie even more and like she did in the uk .. everyone got to see her true side her true evil form
@Uh_Oh_ Agree 💯% !! Also - A lot of the evidence was made public during the UK trial - Depp vs Sun - in which AH was NOT A CLAIMANT, so SHE DIDNT WIN ANYTHING as she & Elaine like to proclaim. 🙄🙄🙄
I think murder was definitely on her mind.
Johnny knew if it wasn’t public Amber would use it for full and even if it was televised she try to change it
Did you notice that she was never afraid of him in all the audio!! That stood out for me!!
Never!! The way she spoke to him, taunted him without fear. She was no victim!!
absolutely
Well said and I hope that AH and her denial of these types of disorders haven't affected you negatively.
If she does have PTSD it is more likely from childhood. Idk if that stuff happened then. I can’t figure out what is real in things she says
My heart breaks for her daughter. To be raised as an only child by a single parent with these characteristics. How will a child navigate this? 💔
I understand being she's being 'looked after' but her new girlfriend and nannies.
(Could not pay the Donation, because Johnny),
- Fragile Ego ("I got myself that role by auditioning")
- Manipullation / Saying, what ever she thinks her victim wants't hear. (See the Interview "I Still love him")
- Changing the topic or distracting, when ever things get uncomfortable. (The Scissorhands comment from the Interview is a good example)
- Gaslighting (In one of the recordings she says "I'm sorry, you feel, like I attacked you")
- A "I'm better then you" Attitude towards everybody. (Best demonstrated when she was asked about the two pictures of spilled Wine. She went on to confidently lecture the Jury about Meta-Data, despite the fact, that everybody could see, that the pictures were the same and she had no idea, what she was talking about)
- Taking others experiences/reactions and passing them for her own.
Yes Yes AND YES!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
These are Cluster B disorders and they have a lot of crossover in symptoms.
There's a fair amount of crossover between narcissistic and histrionic personality symptoms.
I honestly believe Amber has more of NPD than BPD or HPD, I see they overlap but she is clearly more Narcissistic than anything else...
@@hazelangus Thanks for clearifying. I'm not a Psyhchiatrist but I had to deal with an NPD coworker in the past. So there is a bit of

💯👍💯👍
I've been thinking the same
i really think this knife was more for him to commit suicide?
Yes, I believe the "gift" was meant to be the co star in a self defence play act. And with the "evidence" collecting from a very early start, it does make me wonder if it was the plan all along.
100% she planned to kill him. probably fake an overdose. Absolutely no doubt in my mind.
Dr. Hughes was a wreck.
but there is also the fact that Dr.
Dr Hughes was appalling = a disgrace, an embarrassment and she harmed her own professional business, deservedly so. Pray her clients go elsewhere.
The fact it was a majority male jury and right from the off made it clear men can never be victims showing much bias toward Amber clearly shows her research was one sided.
thank you for having this forensic psychiatrist on. It again clarified what most of us suspected about Amber.
AH claimed to have ptsd , so the judge ordered the professional evaluation. JD did not claim any such so was not under order to be evaluated.
Low intelligence + narcissism + beauty from young age

Also both parents were actors and not exactly poor, so probably everything paid for
I wouldn’t say outright LOW intelligence, but certainly highly overestimating herself and underestimating others.

Yo, Mr BBB,
It was an absolute pleasure to be on your channel and share my thoughts. I hope it was interesting for your viewers and I hope to see some of them on my channel. Let's get another collaboration going soon, my friend.
It was very interesting 🧐
This was great! Question for you, doc. Could BPD have characteristics of narcissism or could NPD and BPD coexist?
Good job, Dr Das.
Most illuminating, Doc.
i was watching you cover the trial too. interesting breakdowns. thank you
I have been following JD for 6 years.
👍🏼
You are so right they were all sickening
No she wasn't silenced by the patriarchy, she had a huge platform, but she unmasked herself and nobody liked the real Amber Heard.
perfect summation 🥇
You are spot on … the world heard AH and did not like the lies she was spewing. Once u get past the pretty face the person of AH is ugly.
@@TM-tx9ct Yes...
Johnny should keep his bodyguards close by even now, if not more after the verdict!!
Absolutely agree with you, for people who literally believe they will die during an attack all they want to do is run and never see the monster again.
I was thinking that also. The inscription on the knife seemed like a threat or something to intimidate him.
I concur. When I learned about the knife, during the trial, I took it as a threat.
She’s not done with him yet.
She’s a psychopath. I think BPD and NPD are secondary to what is most likely a true genetic psychopathy.
If I had not witnessed this trial with my own eyes,
I never could of believed any of this!
Great to listen to two really professional narratives on this trial. Excellent Gentlemen thank you. The verdict in my opinion was correct.
Yeah the ridiculousness of her saying she's being silenced
Well said! Bravo! 🇬🇧
Good point.
To answer your question, I'll quote Depp himself, "nothing short of everything."
Ps I once said to my ex "I didn't believe your tears, not for one second"
(I did actually, but I was just at my wits end with her and so I just said it) Anyway I was expecting another flood of tears but oh no. She instantaneously exploded into a full blown rage with such hatred that i was genuinely shocked. Looking back she thought i'd just seen through her disguise and she wasn't happy. In truth, she had just ripped of her disguise and shown me her true colours. Oh, how we live and learn.
I also lived with an AH (male version) for 10 years (of hell). They are exhausting!
I really enjoyed hearing both of your thoughts. Without it becoming across as an attack on 1 party. A very balanced argument.
That's what the trial was being tried on
The op-ed
She defamed him
@@ginakeveryn2349 he dont....

What a joy an informed, articulate conversation between two intelligent professionals
As a UK RMN from way back including forensic intervention I congratulate you both for applying the science to this case 👍
I regard the knife with an inscription of "Until death" - as a threat. She chose to purchase the knife - he didn't ask for it.
So awesome the trial televised, the main stream media would of spun a false natrative over the whole trial.
Yes but they were unbelievable emotions. People saw through them so she can't be that good an actress because no one believed her.
Hello how are you doing
Fair and unbiased is she's the bully, he's the victim. She's the psychopath, he gave and gave, trying to make it work, a very caring person.
She's a narcissist..
Johnny is genuine, authentic and caring
Thank you for your insight into her behavior. Agreed with the circus comment and the fact it is not over anytime soon. Altho we can hope for this to end :) Very happy for JD.
She must regret the trial and was seriously ill advised to do the interview judging by the millions of comments across UA-cam 🇬🇧
Thanks!
I believe she's a malignant narcissist and I know it's nearly impossible to diagnose because they never tell the truth during assessment.
E X A C T L Y OR WHAT MEDS TO SUBSCRIBE ??!!
How do you know this? Not doubting it, but hadn't heard about it until now.
I have BPD and I see a lot of myself in Amber Heard before I received treatment through therapy and meds
"... and cut" - that is what I expected to hear after her over-acted performance directed to the jury before turning back to face the lawyers devoid of the extreme emotions displayed just milliseconds previously.
So well said!
Lol!!
That was great! It was great to hear from another professional and learn they have similar critiques and opinions
I'm so glad that you've done this video. Whilst I'm sickened by AH's behaviour, I would in fact go as far to describe it as as despicable and utterly unacceptable it is important that we do two things;
Utilise this to highlight the case of genuine DV/SA cases and survivors both male and female and;
That even though we do find her actions so despicable, we can still be humans and rise above her noise and shenanigans and perhaps identify and offer help to sufferers of severe mental health sufferers like AH.
I find it hilarious Elisabeth Hughes wasn’t even mentioned. Perhaps because she testified more like a gossipy fishwife and less of a professional.
narcissistic behaviour disorder characterised by among other things, exaggerated feelings of self importance and a chronic lack of empathy towards others..🤔 who does that sound like..
Alec Baldwin?
The majority of career politicians?
The majority of Hollywood?

THIS WAS AN INCREDIBLE INTERVIEW!!! Thank you both!!
The thing that bothers me the most about Spiegel is that many of us watching the Live Court Feed actually HEARD him & Elaine get caught on a hot mic. Why is nobody discussing if this exchange is unethical
Spiegel: "I am going to lie in my testimony. Is there anything I'm not supposed to lie about?"
Elaine: "No No"
Elaine walks over for a legal binder & brings it back to show him which points they really need him to lie about.
I follow Emily D Baker and she says she thinks that he said rely not lie, just because it makes sense for the context of what they were talking about.
OMG I didn't know that!!!
Fascinating conversation. Thanks to you both for sharing your expertise.
Dr Sohom is perfect! So well spoken, articulate, handsome... I could go on forever! I loved this collaboration and am delighted to have been introduced to this fine man!
Dr, Sohom went to court in BARE FEET. As in SANS SOCKS in his expensive loafers…. What a pretentious ass.
That was a most enlightening episode. Thank you so much. Dr Das explained all that perfectly. Keep on.
She now has a daughter… I fear for her
Listening to the description of histrionic personality disorder, my sister in law was described to a tee.
Lort, did she ever try to emulate Curry from hairstyle, wardrobe, mannerisms, and set phrases! Heard failed badly!
….actually…
Dr Curry got annoyed with the muffin questions🤣🤣🤣
I don’t understand why they tried to spin the muffin story.
Thank you for the kind words. That means a lot. It isn’t an easy thing to live with. I hope you’re doing well and have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
What a great explanation of AHs personality disorders👍Thank you 👌
This Depp v Heard Trial is a great study for Psychology.
If press won't accurately report on court trials then they must all be televised
A really interesting discussion, thank you for this, I really enjoyed watching it and the two of you reviewing the behaviours of both parties in the trial. Thanks for all your videos and sharing your experience across a range of legal topics.
Brilliant discussion. Thank you both
Your conversation with Dr. Das was great, thank you. Measured and informative, respect to both of you. 👍🦋🌱
Yey, watched @APsychForSoreMinds the other day. Its a great uk collaboration. Looking foward to checking out uk cases with you both
As far as the case is concerned, I feel it was very fair and it was fairly deliberated.
