When she gets into the falsetto, head voice or whistle whatever you wanna call it at 2.24, it sounds so heavenly then she starts singing back at 2.48 it just shows how different her voice can be, amazing!

I'm happy that she uses her falsetto more often because her's are absolutely one of the prettiest in the industry. It brings a huge rush of ecstasy to the performer to use their voice as an instrument and just let rip. The listeners obviously share that, judging by their reaction. It's a dance, not a battle. If you don't know what a "key" is, stop using the term. No one in this video was "off-key", not even for a millisecond. Brian is an incredibly talented and accomplished artist, and his vocal flip was a deliberate addition, if you watch other vids of him singing this, he adds it each time. It's like a mini yodel, if you like. No one artist "beat" the other, they continually acknowledge the other throughout. You can see Brian silently exclaiming "wow" when Christina is riffing, and she says, "oh, my God", clearly delighted to have sung with Brian. This obviously isn't everyone's cup of tea. That's allowed! You can dislike it, the style can be overbearing to some, but you just sound ignorant when running your mouth about musical theory you know dick about. She started doing a falsetto which you can tell by the air coming through the note but when she went higher up to the D6/E6/F6 it was head voice!
