Really frustrating 2 weeks in a row our backups and 2nd and 3rd team just seems so much less talent then the other franchises. Aside from rookies, the rest of the roster is rough. Really just reminds you how bad the last couple staffs of coaches were at developing players.
All the defense looked solid so this comment is a big stretch the only horrible thing I saw was the o line anyone who knows even a little bit of ball would realize that the problem is the oline
Tune can’t seem to identify a presnap blitz and check to a quick pass. Rider hasn’t done anything impressive other than his athleticism but he’s in a brand new offense.
Tune's throws were hanging in the air so long that I found myself going, "Oh, oh, oh. Phew! Damn, dude. Put some zip on it." I wasn't able to watch the 2nd half much, so my assessment of him last night is TBD. Either way, the gap between Kyler and the backups is far too large for comfort. Update: reviewed Ridder's few drives. I'm not seeing the large gap between Tune and Ridder.
Tune is not a very good QB. Ridder is so bad, he makes Tune look bearable. Cards have a big problem at QB2, they also have big problems in their backups on both sides of the ball. No pass rush, lack of containment, a lot of mental errors. Yeah, this year looking worse and worse.
You guys really giving the qb 2 discussion a little too much attention no cardinal fan cares about that battle, our season is dependent on K1 we already know throw the season away if tune or ridder play
I love you guys and am one of the 200 people that gives a like every day and I have to say I can barely listen lately. You guys have been so negative whether it’s the pass rush or Back up QB or anything. Go back and listen to your shows lately, the large majority is negativity. We’re all fans of this team and want to be optimistic and happy about the team, and your negativity doesn’t align with that. Of course you should critique the team, but just don’t spend the whole show criticizing. I literally feel like I need to go listen to Clancy for some positivity, and that’s crazy.
I agree that they have been somewhat more negative lately but again BJ went down and the pass rush was already an issue and the backup QB battle has been shaky as of late too so that's the current vibe at the moment. They aren't usually this negative.
Putting tune on the practice squad would be franchise malpractice as we void the contract he signed for four years and a team could steal him pending injuries

Steve Kiem still haunts us but I think by next year this team will be better but I agree that most of the depth players did look very week at times

Remember, this is year 2 of a full rebuild. Not even year 2, its the beginning of year 2. Gonna take at least another 2 years to see real development.

QB2-3 doesn’t matter. Without Kyler the season is over. But Tune & Ridder are both a mess right now. And I still trust Ridder more than Tune.
