When you stop to consider that this mod alone has more songs in it the all of original Funkin', its truly staggering to think how far mods and the game as a whole has come. The highest of props to these artists who keep delivering us these masterworks of art and music. I can only hope that the full FNF game can live up to the legend that the fans have already crafted.
I like how the whole gimmick is that Nikku takes the vocals of other characters that BF has faced and even uses their own songs(if slightly changed). It's really unique and it's a cool concept, nice work :D

Friday Night Funkin' was a huge tribute to the stars that raised the culture of Newgrounds. Nikku, on the other hand, seems to capture the essences of UA-cam's ever growing themes. Both are amazing.

this might just be my second favorite mod yet, and yes i can have multiple indie cross just came out i cant make up my mind. but seriously, all of the sprites in this mod are so clean, the charting is super fun to play, all of the music is super good, and the rest is really great. it all combines really well, and its crazy story mode isnt even done, yet we have dozens of songs in this mod already. all of the love and effort is definitely visible and its all extremely well done

Dude, rewatching each section has so much strewn about that I constantly find something I missed entirely. The Sonic.exe transition has Snapcube's Eggman as background vocals and I adore it. This mod is a fever dream and I'm here for it.
Gotta love how ambitious this mod is! Despite it being unfinished. it’s a lovely tribute to Friday Night Funkin. The ARG-aspect of it makes it much engaging that I’d end up seeing Game Theory involved. If the story mode is completed, I’d consider this mod a game of it’s own!

This is just awesome! I realized while playing Expurgated that at 39:20, the piano and vocal melodies you hear from this point are from a song called "Crystallized" by camellia. Once I recognized it, I was just hit with excitement. Frickn' 11/10 mod!
Fun fact: The Phrase "The moon is watching" is a reference to the analog horror series called Local 54. And in that series, it's revealed by the funky funny matpat that it's the moon thats watching us.
I love this mod so much. What made it for me was seeing the song called "Mirror Magic" and thinking "no way that could be a refernce to Celeste's B-Side mirror temple mix name. Then the Mirror Temple motif kicked in and I knew this was only gonna get better.

seeing xigmund in a big mod like this is very surreal because i have a personal history with the character and his creator anyway this mod is genuinely something special. it warms my heart to see such a high quality love letter to a community that has a lot of downs, but when it shines, it glows, and i think that's showcased brilliantly in this mod. it's also topped off with tons of other references, a really cool lore and story, not to mention passion, love, care, and quality dripping from every corner. this is my new favorite mod. i hope more follow in its footsteps, because the magic this fandom can create when they're passionate about something is unreal.

I especially love some of the memes you can hear in the background of some of the songs, and even some of the references in the music itself, like being able to hear Down to the Bone in the background after the Stronger Than You reference in Fandomania, and then later Green Hill Zone in the same song! I have a theory of what is happening in this world: The world Nikku lived in is a simulation, slowly breaking apart. Also i think Matzi is the God, she appears in the game over screen, she's the only thing that keep the entire simulation running, and seemingly, someone or something has broke the simulation, causing the entire simulation to go absolutely apeshit.
I think matzu is a hotline operator for dialogue between aliens and humans, equally trading them, that’s why phase 2 has messages like “you can’t escape” or something like that Nikku was chosen to be sent to earth for experiments by higher ups and matzu is in trouble because nikku escaped

I have a theory of what is happening in this world:
The world Nikku lived in is a simulation, slowly breaking apart. Also i think Matzi is the God, she appears in the game over screen, she's the only thing that keep the entire simulation running, and seemingly, someone or something has broke the simulation, causing the entire simulation to go absolutely apeshit.
Nikku's switching voices thing is because she doesn't have a voice and copies other people's
I think matzu is a hotline operator for dialogue between aliens and humans, equally trading them, that’s why phase 2 has messages like “you can’t escape” or something like that
Nikku was chosen to be sent to earth for experiments by higher ups and matzu is in trouble because nikku escaped
