@@snackpack6356 Put on today and it’s the Bomb! My Scat has a lot of mods also, long tube headers and Cats, MBRP cat back, Hellcat air box, upgraded throttle body from a “The Fastman”. Lowered with Hotchkiss springs, front and back shock tower braces. Pedal commander( love it). Going to install clean PCM and tune with a Diablo Custom tune this weekend. Should be interesting! Again, thanks for the video, my friend who helped me, is a mechanic and we didn’t even have ti move the air box, but it was your video that got this rolling. Your the Man!
Independent comparative testing has actually shown that the MSD Blasters perform worse than factory coil packs. If your factory packs are old and failing, you'll notice an improvement. If not, you're actually costing yourself power with the MSD.
Thanks for the video 💯 Do you happen to have a throttle response device as well? I have a Roar Pedal and I’m curious of this pairing: whether it’ll be good, bad or has no effect.
Hey, I noticed that you have what looks like the Factory Reproductions FR73 wheels. I have the satin ones. I couldn't tell in the one second look I had, are yours the glossy option? Did you go staggered or 10.5" all the way around? When you put those coil packs on, did you change the spark plugs at the same time?
I'm on the fence about these. One thing I keep reading in the reviews is the "better throttle response". That makes me wonder if these coils are somehow like a pedal commander where they've just increased the sensitivity of the throttle to make the car seem more powerful but not necessarily increased horsepower. What do you think? Would you honestly buy them again?
It's gonna take AT LEAST 20hp to even feel a diff. If it "FEELS LIKE A WHOLE ANOTHER CAR!) I'd say the increase must be significant at least. Myself, I doubt it feels like another car. The mind works in crazy ways. Could be a mechanism that keeps you from feeling like you threw a bunch of cash out the window. I can see it being a contributor with other supporting mods, but as a single bolt on? Meh.....
No. Numerous comparative tests have shown that these aftermarket coil packs (Ripp, MSD, etc.) do absolutely nothing to improve performance. If your original ones are old and failing then of course you'll notice a difference, but don't drop the coin on these if you expect any improvement at all.
Don't buy into these. If your OEM coil packs are working properly, there is NO improvement in performance with these. Numerous dyno tests have proven so.
Thank you for the Video. Mine go on my Scat Pack tomorrow(2016 Challenger).
Hopefully you like it 🙏🏽

what kind of plugs you running
I don't thing they ship them to Australia
I just got the MSD Blaster coil packs for my 2008 R/T. I can’t wait to install them.

I noticed a improvement but i am supercharged with a torqstorm unit and other mods if you add the ripp with a good plug you will be happy with them😊
I ordered them last week and they're coming in today. Gonna install them this weekend!
Enjoy them bro 👏🏽
@@snackpack6356 Now I just gotta get a stage 2 tune from West Tuned 🤟
Do it void your warranty
@@thatsBenjii392 Depends on the dealer. I don't think it would. if you ever need to do a warranty claim you could always swap back to the stock ones
That thing accelerated quick!
Did you use your old spark plugs
I’m hearing you need the spark plugs they sell to get the most out of the coil packs
New spark plugs would be great but the ones I have aren’t that bad since I bought the car new and it’s still under 26k miles
@@snackpack6356 the Ripp ones better than stock.
@@jayyyhammm I’ll have to buy the spark plugs later on

You think it’ll fuck up the car if you add these coils and have a paddle commander? Or will it make the cars response better?

All these do is take a command from the computer to make spark and...make spark. They can't do anything else.

Una pregunta si se nota la diferencia ?
Where did you get the cap cover for your air intake plug?
Did you gain any power?

Doesn’t mess with warranty from what I know

Have the 17s been rubbing
Haven’t been rubbing the times I’ve had them on
Have a stock 21. Worth the swap out?
Not too sure if it’s worth it but you can definitely feel a difference
