How are we allowed to command that evil spirts to come off of another person, if that person is in agreement with whatever they are engaged in? Doesn't that give the evil spirit legal right? This is all new to me and I am trying to gain clarity
Ask yourself this. What does Jesus say in Luke 10:19. He has given us the power over all the enemy. I myself was in a case where the demons had controlled all of me, my emotions, my will and my thoughts. It’s was only due to a Holy Spirit fulled Man of God that saw the demons due to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and called each one of them out. At that moment I became myself and broke down and realized what happen and only then I could surrender my life. Before hand this was not possible. This is not always the case and that is why we need to be so sensitive to the Holy Spirit and rely on His guidance not any book or thoughts. This is only give you some insight to how deliverance works but ultimately you need to always be listening to the Holy Spirit. Yes we can command any evil spirit in the Name of Jesus Christ and they have to listen but don’t rejoice in this but rather rejoice that your name is written in the Book of Life.
