Excited for this one. I’ll be one of the many Xmas noobs jumping into my first ever top tier ship once I get this. The Nelson has been great fun. Might tun the game off today. A shocking delete by the Chkalov left me dumb struck. 70% damage to my Benson with only landing half its shells. I had angled & dodged all its first run, but it was determined. 🤮
@ Oh right ! I so often forget about poor Legends Siegfried, with her nerfed Bow armor… massively nerfed Secondary Range, and nerfed dispersion (Battlecruiser, instead of ‘true Cruiser’, like on PC - iirc) 😝

They can probably be knocked out like any other modules. Shells can hit under water. Probably less likely for that to happen compared to launchers on the deck.
It is. I asked them about that. Their answer was basically the guns are so good that they had to balance it somehow, so that’s what they did. I guess it makes sense, but I don’t really like it. You can cut down the smoke firing visibility using AL Belfast though
@ some of that comes down to Colombo having an absurdly good smoke fire penalty. Roma, for example, is 13.9km and it has smaller guns. WG is one of, if not the worst developers I’ve ever seen at balance in general. If you look at any commander where they have a downside attached to a perk, the commander actually gets worse when you upgrade it (Look at Tanaka’s t4 skill for one example, Destroy or be Destroyed).The cost to max commanders makes absolutely no sense relative to the cost. I could go on but I don’t feel like thinking about it anymore, just too many examples.
I love the fact the Legends Devs didn’t ridiculously over-armor the ship, from its PC original stats, like they originally did with Alaska / Worcester / Stalingrad / Colbert, when bringing them into Legends ! 😅 Now you can have excellent Offensive power, but balanced defenses 👍

This imo is the best ship of the update. I have all British commanders . Al Belfast is great that brings smoke penalty fown to 8.2

Almost. Siegfried does. It has 380s and is a “cruiser.” These are smaller that 356mm

Since the torp launchers are underwater, does that mean that they can't be destroyed?!
They can be temporarily disabled and destroyed like any other torpedo launchers. Any sort of damage knocks them out I believe.
