Thank you for watching! I am always thinking about ergonomics in this regard as this planet just ain't built for us, lol. I actually started another channel before this tech one called Freaky Tall Reviews where I review things just for big and tall people, so feel free to check it out!
This case took me to awhile to get used to. At first I hated it compared to the jsaux. But I just had to adjust my grip. I was holding it very loose on the jsaux one since it's small. But the statisfye is great it you actually grip it.
IMO the Steam Deck is already bulky in and of itself! To be fair though, I thought carrying a Switch around (especially in a case) was too. All of that said you have to have a case on these devices. This seems a great way to go!
I would rebut a bit on this, the Killswitch is a little bit of a step up imo. You get a kickstand that that has 4 MicroSD card slots and can be taken off if needed. You also get a similar protection as Satisfy but the cover is optional on the Killswitch, bringing the cost down little. You also get an included skin to choose from (and there are many) for a universal look. Additional items you can purchase alongside the base kit is a dock attachment to have the official dock work with the new cover and a side attachment for batteries or other things (mounts, etc.)
Wow, I have to say the Killswitch is definitely a nice case and I hadn't seen it before the Stylthgrip. The quality looks similar, but I do like that it has a couple extra feature. Good callout on another option!
More bulky? No kickstand? No way to add a power bank? More cost? I just dont feel like those trade-offs are worth getting a more rugged case if im not taking it into a war zone, or something substantially more perilous than most people's daily commute to work or school. Maybe if i worked construction and had a long lunch where i could take it in the field or something? It's like choosing an otterbox phone case because you can run over it with a car and have the phone be fine, but never needing it to be any more rugged than a cheaper (but comparable) lifeproof case. Im fine with keeping the modulation features of the Jsaux case. Even tho i disagree, it was still an excellent video my guy
Comparing it to using an Otterbox is actually very fair. It's definitely less capable, but just very good at what it does instead of having more versatility. Another commenter shared the Killswitch case by Dbrand which also looks fantastic. It may be a bit forward to say the Stylthgrip is the best after consideration, but it's easily worth the money if chosen. Thank you for watching my friend!
I've had both the jsaux and the satisfye grips, and other than the features jsaux provides ie kickstand and the ability to attach a power bank. The satisfye grip feels leagues better. It's day and night.
Yo, nice video. Looks like a great case so far, just wondering since it seems bulky at certain points does it still fit in a generic Deck Dock? (assuming it does, but can't hurt to ask).
Thank you! It does fit in the Steam Deck's dock and Satisfye shows an image of that on their website. I also found that it fit in my JSAUX docks as well!
Good question, and I would say it'll work fine. While I recommend the Steam Deck and Satisfye case for large hands, that doesn't mean it's perfect for bigger hands, just that it's actually comfortable for once. But I think the ergonomics should work for a vast majority of folks.
For the record I've owned both and the kill switch is far better and allows for buying only what you want in a "make your own" bundle type deal on the dbrand website.
Also it's refreshing to see a fellow big dude review stuff. I get to see how things will actually work for someone my size. Great channel my man.

That thing looks like a tank

I wouldn't call the Steam Deck bulky. It's big, yes, but not thick and bulky imho.
@@shoelacedonkey I've only had limited time with a steam deck, mind you, but with a case on it I feel it would be cumbersome.

I love the satisfye brand and it's grips for the switch are awesome!
That’s a cool case!

Very nice video
does the case allow the steamdeck to stand up vertically with it on?
How about for small hands.. is it advisable?

Seriously, if you spend that much on a steam deck, this looks like a no brainer. Good vid!
Thank you Carl!
come on.. 1 sec showing case *cut* face, 1 sec case *cut* showing dock, 1 sec case *cut* showing rgb lights.... What is this!
What a fresh take, a review where you not actually use the product but imagine how it would be if the steam deck was there...
Maybe you watched with eyes closed, but the Steam Deck is literally in the video with the case on several times lol
So we just gonna ignore the dbrand killswitch?
