I think they had to have this season cause Manuel needed to realise he actually like Simone and I think Simone deserved to be happy and Manuel wasn't giving him what he wanted so I prefered it and in season 3 they can put these two back together when Manuel is ready to be with him. I also think the show was brave to give Simone another love interest a show can't be destroyed just cause the ship you want together isn't together cause then your not watching for the show your just watching with bias and being annoyed that they didn't give you what you want.
Maybe David Solans would have stayed, we will have had something similar btw Pol and Bruno, like maybe a boyfriend for David that would have bring a jealous' pol. So in my opinion it will bring good things for Manuel and Simone ! I just hope a third season will aired !
