34 here. With the exception of 2k16 that had the Attitude Ere showcase, my last wrestling game was WWF No Mercy. 2k22 is totally worth it.

I couldn’t stand the previous versions. Graphics are straight 🔥 and I actually like the gameplay.
Its a good game but the controls are not that simple so I can see a lot of people having trouble with it and to be honest the controls need to be adjusted back to wwe 2k19 … maybe they can add some more stuff like they did but the controls need to be more simple …

Man.... The aesthetics of this arena are so on point, literally giving me ASMR goosebumps just looking at it. This filter is just beautiful and it's crazy how Lesnar's modern appearance still feels perfectly natural. I haven't gotten the game yet but I seriously can't wait to play it.
For some reason, I really want to see OG Kane wrestling Hollywood Hogan, LOL!
Leaner definitely belongs in this era too. It just feels right.

Oh God the fight itself was amazing. I really liked that signature move of Hogan. Also i wanna say that the filter of that arena looks so great.
Hogan's signature move was same in 2K20 but it looks good. If I buy this game I will change many moves of Hogan.. I don't remember any top rope moves of Hogan or matches where he used that kind of powerslams.. maybe somewhere in 70's or early 80's when he had that powerhouse gimmick. NWO days he used lot of brawl and not so often bodyslams, body backdrops and vertical suplexes. I hope there are lot of choises for brawling moves with Hogan's style.

Only issue is Hogan's torso. Way too broad. Plus, he slimmed down when he crossed over to wcw in the mid 90s.
They didn’t bother tweaking it from the “Hulk Hogan” version in game.

2K22 is a great redemption for the 2k series, however I am annoyed there isn't the option for pyrotechnics in the create an entrance section

Does anyone know a way to disable that sit up animation? It’s been annoying me since 2k20
This IS 2k20 with graphics mod lol that's why everyone does the Undertaker sit-up animation. Still has sticky ring ropes and clipping, still the same moves just different cam angles.
No matter the graphic....NO MERCY on N64 is still 1000% better.
I wonder if they ever update the crowd reactions. As in the actual live crowds aren't constantly moving, it's more random, most people are sitting, occasionally things get a rise out of them, a big move.
I know it's a detail and perhaps programming it would take too much time, but it would be interesting.
And here's me thinking why don't they react to the hulk up, 3 punch and big boot, they're not lively enough

Looks good. My biggest issue visually is the lighting. Waaaayyy too bland. The lights are supposed to flash to the beat of the music. If they put more effort into the lighting this game would look incredible.
It could be like that on the other arenas, I know the old school ones like in this video have deliberately more washed lighting to make it appear like a old broadcast.

There was limb targetting in 2k17 as well, and you dont know, they might not have used limb targetting. Also there were fan signs you missed them, this time they physically put them down tho

You have to go near head arm or leg push grab button then light or heavy attack
