I can only imagine. If you go to the smaller villages on the outside of the city, you can still see the old city. It's hard to think that was the entire city at one point. At least that's what my friend from Taishan was saying when he came to the US over 50 years ago
They still have those kind of toppings in China still. It's amazing how easy it is find seafood pizza and yet so difficult to find pepperoni pizza haha.

I think you were shopping in the Taicheng district. I was there 10 years ago. There was a Pizza Hut that has salty fish as a topping...
