Yeesh. Bad take. It's a very good album, but to say it raised the bar is a huge disrespect to the history of Hispanic/Latin music. Not to mention contemporary artists as well. You need to broaden your horizons.
This album is so groundbreaking, especially for first gen Latinos-there is nothing like it in the music industry. Her music versatility is a force and I swear her album is like listening to a modern day telenovela. I can’t wait to hear her next projects because she can DO IT ALL-she is a legit artist and performer.
