this is genuinely the most engaged I've ever been in a playthrough of an fnf mod, your reactions to every song felt so raw compared to other streamers/youtubers that will use a "content voice" to try and keep retention, this is the first Mario's Madness playthrough that i watched someone play every song (even the ones I'm not the biggest fan of, which is like 4 of them), keep doing what you're doing, this was such an enjoyable video

Fun Fact: The lore for Mr. L shown at 1:27:38 isnt the only piece, some songs actually have multiple pieces that appear throughout the song, the other main ones are from Classified Castle but not every song has just 1 lore piece throughout.

What i spite with most people who play Mario Madness is “react Andy” to every single thing which makes the whole video feel fake and unwatchable, however I really love how your reactions never gave that impression, and it’s quite engaging as hell, this is the most entertaining play through I ever watched and loved how you get excited over the smallest things that deserves to be hyped over! call it cringey on what im gonna say but i did tear up a bit. not liek full out cry god no but like a "weight off my chest" kind of thing. i genuiely feel like my reactions can be seen fake even though they are genuine but idk. It is quite nice knowing that they aren't like that to you and hopefully everyone else. that being said, ive seen way too many people forcing that reaction to get clicks. whether it does work, im not fond of it lol. i rather get 3 views for a genuine reaction than 100000 for a fake one. sorry for the long message my bad!
If you ask me, overdue is the most horror song in the mod, basically its based off a creepypasta where mario accidently kills luigi, luigis soul remained, and it became twisted and angry, so angry it turned into that thing, it killed mario, blaming him for everything, mr L gives the most unsettling vibes besides gb and mr Virtual, also thanks for experiencing the mod
people rarely forget that luigi is quite smart and if you ever played smb2 or even super mario 3d, his high jump really helps alot. but not only that, luigi is kinda like "think first, act later" while mario is more "act first, think later". I always loved luigi as a kid. idk why but him and drybones always been my favorite in the mario series

my gameplay is even worse than you think btw, can't win the pico song for the life of me, also had like... 4-5 restarts on Somari and 7 restarts on Race Traitors... :'). I don't blame you for unbeatable, theres 1 part you can't miss any notes and I just know that even without that part, I'd never be able to beat this. I'll be honest, most of those songs felt like I won by pure luck. The pico vs luigi part felt like I was gonna die a few times. Same with Somari. But then again I've played rhythm games before and try to find patterns on it. I use arrow keys so I feel ya. three fingers is all i need to win/suffer lol. As for making a fnf mod, I know that feeling. its even how I am with uploading. I always second guess if it's good or not. Just go with your gut sometimes :D I'm even learning how to mod too so we are both on the same boat lol. Hope it works for us!!! As for the The End...christ...I can't even begin to think how dark that "Mario Killer" is but as for the luigi creepypasta, it's crazy to think that creepypastas are still relevant to this day. It's lore time! Mario.EXE (Or Horror Mario) is based off a disturbing picture of Mario with the words "MARIO GET YOU NEXT TIME" on it. Peach.EXE/Horror Peach is also based off a disturbing picture with princess peach on it instead of Mario Yoshi.EXE is based off a Yoshi.EXE game. Not really much Pretty sure we all know what this one is, but just in case: Chris Pratt voices Mario in the Super Mario Bros. Movie and this whole song takes place in a nintendo live stream Grand Dad is a bootleg version of Super Mario that appeared on the title screen of 7 GRAND DAD. On the SiIvaGunner channel, he appears as the personification of the 7 GRAND DAD and "Meet the Flintstones", and one of the main mascots of SiIvaGunner. Somari is based off of a bootleg game which is basically just Sonic the hedgehog but Sonic is replaced with Mario Beta Luigi is based off a Luigi's mansion creepypasta where Luigi was too much of a coward and did not enter the mansion leaving Mario trapped in a painting for eternity L is Real 2401 is a theory / Easter egg in Super Mario 64. It involves the character Luigi and his absence from the game. This led to a lot of theories and bogus cheat codes about its non-existent aspect "Oh God No" and "I Hate You" are both about a creepypasta of how Luigi joins the Koopas and tries to kill Mario. In self defense, Mario pushes Luigi off the bridge and into the lava at the end of the song "OH GOD NO". Luigi comes back as a burnt looking skeletor and is trying to get revenge on his brother for what he did. The Wario Apparition is a Super Mario 64 creepypasta that circulated online as a meme in 2020, inspiring various fanmade screenshots and animations. The creepypasta involves a giant disembodied Wario head in the hallway to Dire, Dire Docks, often saying "You want fun? Wario show you fun!" Turmoil is a version of Mario who ate a mushroom with Yoshi's code in it causing Mario to go blind and become hungry for his enemie's blood. Okay coronation peach is a long one so I don't blame you if you don't want to hear it but here is the story: One day, Peach wandered into the forest where she either killed herself or was killed by a mysterious entity. She, or an entity of unknown origin, now inhabits the forest. In the ROM hack, we play as Mario who wanders through the forest, periodically dodging Peach. At the end of the game, Mario goes back to the beginning. Also the game has 7 endings. Ending #7: Well If you kept the screen to the left and fell into the pit before the crash is triggered, you start to fall into a red version of the House from endings 2 and 3 right onto another Mario before the game crashes. OKAY FINALLY TO THE NEXT ONE Super Bad who is the little party fella who throws shells at you comes from a UA-cam series called "Super Bad Mario" Day Out is based off of a UA-cam animation where Mario is a complete asshole and is forced to bring his brother Luigi who acts innocent and childish even though he's over 30 to see Mario's friends Dictator is based off A UA-cam animation by Mashed called "The Secret Histories Of Mario" Where after marrying Peach Mario basically becomes the king and ruler of the mushroom kingdom and makes everything his way. HE is pure evil, he also dumped Peach and gave her plastic surgery. Race traitors is based off of a UA-cam animation again where Mario goes absolutely nuts and kills everyone because the Nintendo characters invited non-nintendo characters to Mariokart No Hope is based off a UA-cam animation where Mario gets possessed by an anime dude and attacks boyfriend (JK HAHAHA) Mario actually gets possessed by a bunch of Ghosts (or better known as Boos) and kills the entire mushroom kingdom trying to get a power star. GB was unintentionally made sometime during the year of 1995 by video game developer, Christine Hermer, as means of making an AI successor to the Gameboy console under OptiSoft. At one point he spelled out the words "GB" in one of his attempts to communicate with her, giving himself his name. Christine would experimente with his cartridge data by putting it into other cartridges such as Kirby's Dreamland and Pokemon Red, causing him pain in the process. Despite his pleas to stop, she ignored him and continued experimenting. Enraged, GB burned his cartridge in an act of retaliation, resulting in Christine going home and falling asleep since she was already exhausted. That night, Christine became the subject of a nightmare where she was in the body of Luigi inside of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and was chased by a demonic version of Mario, who was none other than GB himself. When he heard people cried as they were being melted and burned to death he felt joy instead of guilt and fear. After his death his soul was basically put into a Mario cartridge and now whoever plays that cartridge is Mr. V's next victim. Mr L. Who is seen in the song Overdue is from a creepypasta known as Too Late.EXE which takes place in Super Mario Bros. 3 where Mario and Luigi are fighting Bowser but Mario accidentally kills Luigi tossing him into lava. Not much longer after, Luigi's spirit comes back for revenge to torture Mario thinking Mario killed Luigi purposefully. He eventually does kill Mario the same way Mario killed Luigi and that's why Mario's spirit is singing with Pico DJ Hallyboo is based off of a creepypasta of what happens when you pirate Mario Party. He makes you write apology notes and locks your character up for pirating the game. MX is based off of Mario 85 PC Port which is a creepypasta game where an 8 year old is playing Mario until he reaches the end of world 1 level 1 and finds a Mario who turns into a demonic form of Mario and chases Lucas (who is the name of the 8 year old kid) to the beginning of the level. (OH and m MX and Lord X are literally friends!) Promotion has Stanley who is the name of the Mario who says nothing but CHYOO CHYUM CHYUM CHYOO CHYUM CHYOO CHYOO and is based of a VHS analog horror series on UA-cam where Mario is starting a new show that notifies people about new Nintendo news but soon transforms into a disturbing looking fella after realizing his brother is drowning. Abandoned has classified Luigi and is basically the same thing as L is Real 2401 The End has golden freddy Mario (Sorry couldn't help myself) His name is costume and he's based off a picture in the same VHS analog horror series just like Promotion Mario and Classified Luigi. All-Stars lore is told In the while game but Omega, LX, W4R and Y0SH are just OCs made by the creators of Mario's Madness who were sent to distract boyfriend while Ultra M killed girlfriend. Unbeatable is based off a cursed commercial that WAS real and WAS made by Nintendo Overdue, The End, and Paranoia are bangers ngl

Just a small little fact, during Act 4 of All Stars while Ultra M's icon was changing it was actually him imitating the voice of whichever character was being shown since Ultra M is a fusion of Horror Mario from the beginning and all of the other characters from the mod, it's a bit hard to hear the imitations but some characters voices stand out enough to hear such as Coronation Day Peach (from Dark Forest), GB (from Golden Land) and Stanley (from Promotion)
makes sense. it did sound a bit weird at first cause the voices kept changing here and there but so much was going on so I didn't catch on right away. but damn, the amount of editing for that would take hours. such a small thing like that where THEY DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO DO IT is why I love the modding community. frickin amazing!!

I am so happy your playing this now. Next IS Cartoon Cat 2.0. Basically Vs Cartoon Cat is a really old mod, over two years. It got an update recently and is the highest quality mod I've ever seen. It's really unique and you need to get around to it.

@@Jester_Tenebris Another great mod that used to be my favorite before Hit Single and Cartoon Cat is Ourple Guy v3. A funny fnaf mod that is jokes on most parts, but some of those songs feel like the mod just started to go crazy out of no where. And the songs are SO GOOD

@@Jester_Tenebris if you're referring to Cartoon Cat, at the end of the mod there's a code (there are a lot of codes it's a big part of the mod, don't worry they're right in your face) which shows you the lore of each character and the songs they're in too.
I like most of the songs in this mod the mod was worth the wait. But I really think This guy deserves more then 900 subs he needs 10k or more because this guy is funny and probably could your day ❤ Keep making videos

So seeing that you haven't beaten unbeatable here is my advice. As long as you get better and can eventually FC most long/fast songs come back and beat the over 10 min beast. After that 1 no miss section Duck Hunt Dog's gimmick is shooting your icon to health drain you, Bowser's is the fire bar keeping you at half health, and at the end of the final level, each character swaps the opponents to drain your health. EDIT: Mad World Without You details an I've won but at what cost situation where M feels that his newest victim, BF, was truly such a marvel that he played so carelessly with when killing him. RedTv, a musician on Mario's Madness V2 voiced M's Normal form and he seems to now be a go-to FNF voice actor despite also being a composer. Those characters in 3:40 are from mods the mod's director, Marco Antonio worked/is working on (Wednesday's Infidelity, Funkin at Freddy's, Hypno's Lullaby). BTW just so you know some mods such as Wednesday's Infidelity, Vs. Gorefield and Mario's Madness feature a code for Penkaru (typed on the main menu or a code menu and is titled Penkaru) who is one of FNF's currently biggest-named content creators on YT, that code has a clip from one of his streams in which his chat had him do the griddy.

But I’m still curious on what happen to pico. Like he’s trapped there but…that’s all we know. Same with daddy and mommy dearest. So much to cover which I love. Lemme explain the lore of the peach song for you cuz you didnt seem to understand it very one, one day, peach exits her castle to take a walk in a forest nerby, she becomes lost and is faced agaisnt a creature called the king thats just shown as a pile of spike, due to peach being hopeless in ways of getting out, she unalives herself and the king takes over her body, mario then comes to investigate but is found head to head with this corrupted version of peach, as mario tries to escape it, everything becomes glitchy and bugged, like if it didnt want us to escape in any ways, there are many endings to this rom hack but ill let you discover them via very well explained videos among the internet.

In all honesty, it would be nice if daddy dearest was in the mod because not many mods include him yet he plays a big part in the vanilla story. Dorkly Mario would seem interestin since I remember watching that when I was younger but I'm not sure how they execute it properly. Yoshi would be pretty neat if they made some song for him. But it's crazy that there was this many that were scrapped but it does make sense at the same time.

He can also still speak & hangs out with Luigi :) His favorite part of eating things are the bones! & he almost always bites their face off (which is why BFs face is gone in the game over ^_^ )

1:23:34 Overdue is based on a Super Mario 3 fan game called TooLate.EXE. The story is about Mario Accidentally killing Luigi by knocking him into lava wall they were fighting Bowser, now Mario is sad for Accidentally killing Luigi, but Luigi or in the game Mr L vengeful spirit wanting to kill Mario. The areas around Mr L and Pico are levels from TooLate.exe. Mr L ended up killing Mario by knocking him into lava just like what happened to Luigi and all the Mr L in the hallway is a reference to the end of TooLate.EXE. You probably didn't notice this but Mario's ghost sings a long side of Pico at a point of the song. You should play TooLate.EXE it's a really good game

People talk about No Hope as a great transition between Content Cosmos and the ending worlds, but come to think of it, Bad Day is a great intro. Even if you haven't seen specifically Super Bad Mario, if you were around during a certain era then the Super Mario World sprite lets you know it's fan animation references, and even though it reminds you of Irregularity Isle with how pop and upbeat the track is, this Mario is clearly having fun *at your expense*, not *with* you. If you ask me, overdue is the most horror song in the mod, basically its based off a creepypasta where mario accidently kills luigi, luigis soul remained, and it became twisted and angry, so angry it turned into that thing, it killed mario, blaming him for everything, mr L gives the most unsettling vibes besides gb and mr Virtual, also thanks for experiencing the mod

I'll be honest, most of those songs felt like I won by pure luck. The pico vs luigi part felt like I was gonna die a few times. Same with Somari. But then again I've played rhythm games before and try to find patterns on it. I use arrow keys so I feel ya. three fingers is all i need to win/suffer lol.
As for making a fnf mod, I know that feeling. its even how I am with uploading. I always second guess if it's good or not. Just go with your gut sometimes :D I'm even learning how to mod too so we are both on the same boat lol. Hope it works for us!!!
As for the The End...christ...I can't even begin to think how dark that "Mario Killer" is but as for the luigi creepypasta, it's crazy to think that creepypastas are still relevant to this day. I'm noticing slow comebacks from them and I like it. Okay coronation peach is a long one so I don't blame you if you don't want to hear it but here is the story: One day, Peach wandered into the forest where she either killed herself or was killed by a mysterious entity. She, or an entity of unknown origin, now inhabits the forest. In the ROM hack, we play as Mario who wanders through the forest, periodically dodging Peach. At the end of the game, Mario goes back to the beginning. Also the game has 7 endings.
Ending #1: Red
In this ending, you need to hold down the R button on your shoulder before starting the level to get an Easter egg. after you restart the level (everything will be in pink and red), after walking a certain distance you will see a window with the text: “No, he loves red.” When the screen goes dark, press the R button on your shoulder to get an Easter egg. After these steps, you will see Peach behind the wall with black eyes and a mouth.
Ending #2: House
You fall onto a wooden platform as Mario, and a voice tells you to make a house. To do so, you have to pull the weeds out, get wood for the walls, and then get more for the roof. Once that's finished, a text box says "oh god YES. AMAZING WORK. THEY love it." before the game freezes.
Ending #3: Staring
At the beginning level go left and press the L button. After, get to the top with the door. Entering it leads to the house from Ending 2, and it looks like you fell on yourself. Go through the next door. You will find yourself as if in the depths of the sea. After walking some distance, you can see a ghost at the top of the screen resembling Mario. A window appears with the text "Now he's just staring at me through the window above and".
Ending #4: King
When you reach the burning forest, press Y, A, Up, X, B, Left, B, Right, and A in that order. You will be then transported to a white void with text all around: "July 31st, 1992 - I AM TRULY IMPRESSED BY THEIR DETECTIVE SKILLS. THE EVIDENCE BESTOWS ME. Ending #5: Useless
Stay still in the beginning until a text box appears saying "Is that really it?" Staying still longer shows the text "You're even more useless than the last one. Thanks for nothing." Then, this message: "...HE is calling for me again. I have to go." before it freezes the game.
Ending #6: Him
An extra level is hidden, though the devs say it's unfinished. The enemies look like pieces of organs, and reaching the end shows a giant version of Peach floating over a pit. A message appears saying "Oh my god YES, it's- wait... d-did it fall?" before the game crashes.
Ending #7: Well
If you kept the screen to the left and fell into the pit before the crash is triggered, you start to fall into a red version of the House from endings 2 and 3 right onto another Mario before the game crashes.

Day Out is based off of a UA-cam animation where Mario is a complete asshole and is forced to bring his brother Luigi who acts innocent and childish even though he's over 30 to see Mario's friends
Dictator is based off A UA-cam animation by Mashed called "The Secret Histories Of Mario" Where after marrying Peach Mario basically becomes the king and ruler of the mushroom kingdom and makes everything his way. HE is pure evil, he also dumped Peach and gave her plastic surgery.
Race traitors is based off of a UA-cam animation again where Mario goes absolutely nuts and kills everyone because the Nintendo characters invited non-nintendo characters to Mariokart
No Hope is based off a UA-cam animation where Mario gets possessed by an anime dude and attacks boyfriend (JK HAHAHA) Mario actually gets possessed by a bunch of Ghosts (or better known as Boos) and kills the entire mushroom kingdom trying to get a power star.
GB was unintentionally made sometime during the year of 1995 by video game developer, Christine Hermer, as means of making an AI successor to the Gameboy console under OptiSoft. At one point he spelled out the words "GB" in one of his attempts to communicate with her, giving himself his name. Christine would experimente with his cartridge data by putting it into other cartridges such as Kirby's Dreamland and Pokemon Red, causing him pain in the process. Despite his pleas to stop, she ignored him and continued experimenting. Enraged, GB burned his cartridge in an act of retaliation, resulting in Christine going home and falling asleep since she was already exhausted.
That night, Christine became the subject of a nightmare where she was in the body of Luigi inside of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and was chased by a demonic version of Mario, who was none other than GB himself. She eventually wakes up after being dragged into the ocean to drown, but is confronted by GB coming out of her living room TV in the real world, who proceeds to kill her after causing a blackout. Mr. V who you find in the song paranoia is based off a creepypasta where a man who worked at a circus had accidentally burned down it. When he heard people cried as they were being melted and burned to death he felt joy instead of guilt and fear. After his death his soul was basically put into a Mario cartridge and now whoever plays that cartridge is Mr. V's next victim.
Mr L. Who is seen in the song Overdue is from a creepypasta known as Too Late.EXE which takes place in Super Mario Bros. 3 where Mario and Luigi are fighting Bowser but Mario accidentally kills Luigi tossing him into lava. Not much longer after, Luigi's spirit comes back for revenge to torture Mario thinking Mario killed Luigi purposefully. He eventually does kill Mario the same way Mario killed Luigi and that's why Mario's spirit is singing with Pico
DJ Hallyboo is based off of a creepypasta of what happens when you pirate Mario Party. He makes you write apology notes and locks your character up for pirating the game.
MX is based off of Mario 85 PC Port which is a creepypasta game where an 8 year old is playing Mario until he reaches the end of world 1 level 1 and finds a Mario who turns into a demonic form of Mario and chases Lucas (who is the name of the 8 year old kid) to the beginning of the level. (OH and m

Just a small little fact, during Act 4 of All Stars while Ultra M's icon was changing it was actually him imitating the voice of whichever character was being shown since Ultra M is a fusion of Horror Mario from the beginning and all of the other characters from the mod, it's a bit hard to hear the imitations but some characters voices stand out enough to hear such as Coronation Day Peach (from Dark Forest), GB (from Golden Land) and Stanley (from Promotion)
makes sense. it did sound a bit weird at first cause the voices kept changing here and there but so much was going on so I didn't catch on right away. but damn, the amount of editing for that would take hours. such a small thing like that where THEY DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO DO IT is why I love the modding community. frickin amazing!!

Basically Vs Cartoon Cat is a really old mod, over two years. It got an update recently and is the highest quality mod I've ever seen. It's really unique and you need to get around to it.

This was truly one of the best. I hate that I beat it cause I want to experience it all over again :)
So seeing that you haven't beaten unbeatable here is my advice. As long as you get better and can eventually FC most long/fast songs come back and beat the over 10 min beast. After that 1 no miss section Duck Hunt Dog's gimmick is shooting your icon to health drain you, Bowser's is the fire bar keeping you at half health, and at the end of the final level, each character swaps the opponents to drain your health.
EDIT: Mad World Without You details an I've won but at what cost situation where M feels that his newest victim, BF, was truly such a marvel that he played so carelessly with when killing him. RedTv, a musician on Mario's Madness V2 voiced M's Normal form and he seems to now be a go-to FNF voice actor despite also being a composer. Those characters in 3:40 are from mods the mod's director, Marco Antonio worked/is working on (Wednesday's Infidelity, Funkin at Freddy's, Hypno's Lullaby). BTW just so you know some mods such as Wednesday's Infidelity, Vs. Gorefield and Mario's Madness feature a code for Penkaru (typed on the main menu or a code menu and is titled Penkaru) who is one of FNF's currently biggest-named content creators on YT, that code has a clip from one of his streams in which his chat had him do the griddy.
That’s pretty neat with the clip bit. As for unbeatable, I’m determined to beat it one of these days. Also after checking out the lyrics for mad world, I can definitely see that. But I’m still curious on what happen to pico. Like he’s trapped there but…that’s all we know. Same with daddy and mommy dearest. So much to cover which I love. Feels very open ended if they were ever interested in expanding.

Lemme explain the lore of the peach song for you cuz you didnt seem to understand it very one, one day, peach exits her castle to take a walk in a forest nerby, she becomes lost and is faced agaisnt a creature called the king thats just shown as a pile of spike, due to peach being hopeless in ways of getting out, she unalives herself and the king takes over her body, mario then comes to investigate but is found head to head with this corrupted version of peach, as mario tries to escape it, everything becomes glitchy and bugged, like if it didnt want us to escape in any ways, there are many endings to this rom hack but ill let you discover them via very well explained videos among the internet.

In all honesty, it would be nice if daddy dearest was in the mod because not many mods include him yet he plays a big part in the vanilla story. Dorkly Mario would seem interestin since I remember watching that when I was younger but I'm not sure how they execute it properly. Yoshi would be pretty neat if they made some song for him. But it's crazy that there was this many that were scrapped but it does make sense at the same time.

1:23:34 Overdue is based on a Super Mario 3 fan game called TooLate.EXE. The story is about Mario Accidentally killing Luigi by knocking him into lava wall they were fighting Bowser, now Mario is sad for Accidentally killing Luigi, but Luigi or in the game Mr L vengeful spirit wanting to kill Mario. The areas around Mr L and Pico are levels from TooLate.exe. Mr L ended up killing Mario by knocking him into lava just like what happened to Luigi and all the Mr L in the hallway is a reference to the end of TooLate.EXE. You probably didn't notice this but Mario's ghost sings a long side of Pico at a point of the song. You should play TooLate.EXE it's a really good game

People talk about No Hope as a great transition between Content Cosmos and the ending worlds, but come to think of it, Bad Day is a great intro. Even if you haven't seen specifically Super Bad Mario, if you were around during a certain era then the Super Mario World sprite lets you know it's fan animation references, and even though it reminds you of Irregularity Isle with how pop and upbeat the track is, this Mario is clearly having fun *at your expense*, not *with* you. Given the subject matter, the whole collection is "Mario but he's a real dick"

Horror Mario: Horror Mario was unable to take BF’s soul at the end of the mod, and was only able to acquire GF’s. In regards to his design, while he’s predominantly based on Horror Mario by Shadow-Shana (who’s simply a character in her drawings, alongside Horror Peach), he seems to take some inspiration in his portrayal from Coolrash’s Mario.exe.
John Dick: Yes, that’s the name of the Parabones (winged Dry Bones).
Horror Peach: Excluding Girlfriend as GX, Horror Peach is the only uncut fully female opponent in the mod (other female characters were considered, but ended up scrapped, such as Jaiden Mario or Victim #1) (Coronation Day Peach is actually referred to with almost exclusively masculine pronouns in his origin game of ‘the, and even refers to himself as the King of the forest (as you’ve seen).
Yoshi.exe: He is the only character directly named in the .exe fashion, albeit a few other characters count in the criteria, such as MX, DJ Hallyboo, Stanley, and even Horror Mario (albeit only in-universe).
Chris Pratt: He’s so cool…
7 GRAND DAD: The original sprite for 7 GRAND DAD in the bootleg actually comes from yet another bootleg. Also among the songs referenced in Nourishing Bl00d include Scatman’s World, the Mario 2 select screen theme, and Renai Circulation.
Somari: The BF and GF seen in Mario Sing and Game Rhythm 9 are actually separate characters from BF and GF, being Called Pikafriend and Eeveefriend. Pikafriend is a trans man.
Beta Luigi: Beta Luigi originally lacked a losing icon.
L is Real Luigi: “Hello, how are you? I am under the water.”
I HATE YOU Luigi: In Oh God No, if you listen closely to one part, you can hear IHY Mario and IHY Luigi exchange “Because you’re my brother” and “You’re no longer my brother”, respectively. In regards to I Hate You, it was actually the first song conceived for the mod, before one of the devs then suggested adding MX to it.
Wario Apparition: If Boyfriend misses, his eyes become green, like the Wario Apparition’s in its left pose.
Turmoil: The version of Turmoil present in the mod is actually just the first version of the character (and my personal favorite). The second version was an AI that inhabited Super Mario Advance, and the third is a Youkai.
Coronation Day Peach: the design used for him is actually from the unused Pink Forest level from ‘the, as opposed to the Peach that chases you.
Super Bad Mario: The second and latest episode of Super Bad Mario released back in November of 2014. We’ve got more hope for the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong and BNA: Brand New Animal season 2 than Super Bad Mario episode 3 at this rate.
Luigi’s Day Out Mario: the dialogue is all recycled and recontextualizes from the original animation, sans BF’s beeps and boops.
Secret Histories Mario: Nothing happened in Mushroom Square.
Racist Mario: Racist Mario was originally a secret character in V1, and whose song has been changed the least.
Devil Mario: in his source material of Power Star, Peach is voiced by Kira Buckland, now better known for voicing such characters as 2B from Nier Automata, and that’s just the very tip of that iceberg.
GB: GB was actually originally created for the mod, and was originally conceived as another form of Horror Mario, before branching off into his own entity and getting his own creepypasta. Much like Turmoil (who who’s canonically friends with), his design in the mod is now outdated, namely in regards to his colors in his disguised form, and the presence of rabbit ears (as a reference to Super Mario Land 2).
DJ Hallyboo: The creator of the series prominently featuring him, Mario Party DS Anti-Piracy, Joey Perleoni, actually made the original version of No Party, and Hallyboo’s vocals and game over lines are provided by his official voice actor, Juno Songs. Hallyboo is also canonically pansexual and has a wife.
Mr. Virtual: Doing some math, Mr. Virtual was born in 1952.
Mr. L: “Yo soy Luigi, mamma mia, Luigi.exe soy amigo de Mario Madness… oh ah si yes, yo, soy Luigi, me Busta cantare espaldes, acercatre, acercatre mas, non te hare daño.”
MX: Normally, MX only attempts to kill children. Around adults, he’s much more like the actual Mario.
Promo Mario: In his original short, he was doing the spooky glitch stuff all by himself. In Mario’s Madness, he’s instead taken over by…
Stanley: Stanley is never fought while in his standard form, only while taking over Promo Mario. His standard form, however, appears in ProMotion and Abandoned’s game over screens, as well as in Abandoned’s prelude cutscene.
Classified Luigi: He is the second (and cooler) take on the L is Real rumor in the mod. Add in FNF: Classified, and we get a triforce of L is Reals.
Costume: He’s actually a fusion of two Horrorbrews (what horror themed Mario fan characters are called). The former is a single scene in one episode in SM64: Classified by Annielogue (the mod credits her as Greenio), the other is an obscure Spanish creepypasta about a man named Mike Robertson who puts on a Mario suit and commits a few murders before never being heard from again, with all the police finding is a SNES running Super Mario World.
The Secret Opponents: their origin material is the oldest in the mod (unless we count Chris Pratt by his birthdate), dating back to the late 1980s. Among them is also the only instance of Bowser as an opponent in the mod, with his only other appearances being in Oh God No’s game over screen and in Classified Castle’s map.

LG, W4R, & Y0SH: They are based on the additional playable characters in Super Mario 64 DS.
Ultra M: Originally, Ultra M’s color palette was that of Mario’s in SMB1.

This makes the intro cutscene really ironic considering Horror Mario is the same height as Mario… who’s 5’1.
Ok, so an additional fact I learned when looking at the Horrorbrew Wiki is that Devil Mario’s own voice actor (both in the original series who also has archived audio in the mod), Deven Mack, later went on to voice Sonic in Sonic Prime.
