Was a big fan but college ball on the high level really exposes these mixtape legends if they can’t shoot. He has a great motor & can finish just gotta get under control n get a nice jump shot
he was going to be the 5th option regardless and he still averaged double figures thats crazy good
People are out here sleeping on Tricky Tre. He’s got every tool physically to be great. He’s working on that jumper and getting stronger. He’s already got the vision and explosiveness. He’s a mix of young D Rose/ John Wall/ Stephon Marbury. He will be the steal of this draft.
He can be a pass first point guard, attack first point guard, defensive point guard. He's got all the intangibles to be a great point guard, just needs to work on that jumper and his decision making. Coming from a Duke fan, I honestly think he went to the wrong school, K didn't utilizing him that much and when you have snipers like Allen, Trent and two skilled Big Men, you get overshadowed. Overall, I think he'll be very good in the league, just needs to work on a few things. Rondo/DRose in my opinion.

Rondo/DRose. I mean shooting 29% from three isn't anywhere near solid lol. His form isn't broken, just needs more reps and confidence.

These kids keep going to all of these schools with loaded talent and not only harming their draft stock but their NBA readiness. I argued up and down with a staunch Duke fan last year over Frank. It got heated on here. Then I see him do another video about a year later saying that Frank had gone to the wrong school lol
You only need ONE...ONE other McDonald's All-American on your team. That's it! Try to win 22 games or so and get in the tournament. The odds of your team winning the whole thing are slim to nil, anyway. UK players do the same thing. Just go somewhere where you can PLAY A LOT and DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO on the court. That's what college is for. It's not for trying to win a title.
I totally agree. Frank Jackson has a lot of talent as well. I actually thought he had a good freshman year. But again, Coach K used him wrong by having him be a PG. He's a scoring combo guard with a lot of upside. Derryck Thornton messed up and left Duke. He got scared of the thought about competing for starting point guard. Duke definitley needed a true pg that year cuz you could tell they were really lacking when they had Frank and Grayson at PG.
But hey, I dont blame the one and done's coming to Duke lol. If they are heavy favorites to win so be it lol. My only concern with Coach K (and ive been saying this for years) he needs to trust his bench more. Those players that stay 3-4 years and only get 10 mins a game? Give those role players more minutes, get them experience cuz more often then not, Freshman can't handle the big stage all the time.
I told that guy that he should have gone anywhere but Duke and UK. I told the guy that if Frank wanted to go to a blue blood, good academic institution, and have a chance to win 25+ games he should have to UCLA and played with Lonzo Ball. Lonzo would have played the PG, and Frank could have played off of the ball.
I don't think Frank got scared. I just think he wanted to be a one and done the entire time. ALL of these guys do. It's an obsession with them lol

Yes Deng D Rose was on another level athletically and in College. I still believe he’s the most athletic PG I have ever seen play. Trevon has a chance to be a great player in the NBA. He’s a hard worker and is physically already there

AthletiQ no he isn’t more athletic than either of those too but he isn’t that far behind them. He is a better pure point guard than those 2 you named. He will be great. It might take a year for him to fully mature, a year in the G league but when he does. Watch out😳😳😳

Kid sucks now. Trevon is THE perfect example of why going to a school that fits your playing style is soooooo important for these high school mix tape kings. A place like Duke is no place for a non shooting lead guard. Said it when he committed to Duke that it was a horrendous decision and fast forward to now i was correct. Kid should've went to Maryland. Terps offense would've been perfect for him with the way Mark Turgeon used Melo Trimble. Trevon has that melo type game but with much better athletic ability. Melo a much better shooter tho and Melo can process the game on a much higher level than Trevon. The kid never truly got ANY ounce of coaching throughout hs or at duke for as a matter of facts. Kid became a 5 star recruit simply off his pure handles and athletic ability but never truly got legit coaching on his overall game or mechanics especially on his jump shot
