And they tecnically did it. An opening segment with the national costumes, but idk why i don´t feel happy and glad with this. definitely IMG needs to get rif of MUO
MU opening of 2008, 2009, and 2010 are the best. We really can get to know the contestants and how they proudly show their cultures.
And they just realised that. So happy they returned to that format!

Matthieu No I think they mean it’s the first that both of them didn’t place at all. When Miss USA didn’t place Venezuela did and when Venezuela didn’t place USA did.
God how I love that circumstances when USA and Venezuela were BOTH unplaced. 2 birds on one stone😂
Rumor has it that Trump always have 5 picks similar to IMG wildcards. Noticed how the Eastern Europeans always got in during his era. Of course USA is always on his list regardless of their performance but since USA that year was problematic Trump did not saved her.

She was a total witch. I believe that's why she didn't make Top 15. I had a bad experience with her at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. I was happy she was left standing after 15 other excellent women got the call to move forward.

Dear Miss Universe, please bring back opening numbers with national costumes. Those are the best. Do split screens with contestants one side wearing their costumes and on the other they're in formal wear introducing themselves.
