Fostering sustainable rice production through climate finance

Lisa De Vos, former colleague in Rikolto- introduces you to Mbeya in Tanzania, a region blessed with fertile soil and a favourable climate. This beautiful region in the heart of the Southern Highlands has become a vital centre for rice farming.
But there's a challenge we need to address.
Funded by the government of Flanders, Rikolto and its partners work closely with farmers to promote the use of Good Agricultural Practices based on the Sustainable Rice Platform standard.
