- In this tutorial video i firstly take you step by step through how to Create your own AWS EC2 AMI, before using the, before fixing the default AWS EC2 Public IP it provides by default with an Elastic IP address. You can also restore a AWS EC2 Instance using this method.
This video, although standalone, is also part three of a short 3 part video course, which is intended just to take you through the basic features available in amazons EC2 service. It will not cover advanced EC2 features like load balancing or auto scaling but is intended to provide a good grounding covering the main uses users face when first starting to use their EC2 service in anger.
The course uses where possible, free tier resources, so can be completed at almost no cost. I have also made a video showing how to sign up for these free tier resources.

you do not need to create snapshots separately if you are creating an AMI. When you create an AMI, AWS automatically creates snapshots of all the EBS volumes attached to the EC2 instance at the time the AMI is created. These snapshots are associated with the AMI and are used when you launch new instances from that AMI.

whether the AMI backup will restore the available appliances (Palo Alto firewall) from old instance
can we create AMI without an instance or without any AMI version
So if i create instance with "owned the AMI image" than i dont have to pay right extra for the image right. Can i do the same with windows server 2019? There is AMI image of windows Server 2019 in aws. If i create a instance with this AMI and then take a snap shot and add another instance and recover it as image. This way i build my custom windows server AMI image right?
And Can i use my Windows server 2019 License after creating instance?
