what blend mode do you use for you canvases and are they on top of all layers?

usually I put the textured canvases to the very bottom and then play with the brushes' blending modes. Sometimes I'll put the texture on the very top and try either Multiply or Colour Burn, but usually reduce its opacity significantly. Hope this help!
