@@rnrnrkrk994 Ive never leased a car before but do tell me, isnt the point of leasing to avoid the whole dilemma of depreciation? Once the lease is up you dont have to sell the car right?
@@ampo326 but lease is technically paying for "depreciation" for the 3 year period. Thats why you have this variable called "residual value" in calculating lease. IIRC 3 series have residual value of 56%.... in 3 years after around 30k miles! X6 will have even lower. What I want to say is leasing wont help you avoid the inevitable depreciation.
113k for nearly 2 decades of engineering and countless hours of redesigning an already near perfect vehicle. Go and test drive an X6, even a base model- and you’ll see why it’s priced the way it is. Is it going to be as reliable as a Lexus or last even half as long? Absolutely not, but this is a sports coupe SUV that has redefined the entire SUV market pushing performance to the next level without compromising functionality for everyday life.
I love everything about this car except the price. Other than that this vehicle is good in every way that I care about. Its menacing looking from all angles and I think bmw definitely did the best coupe suv out of all the brands that did it besides Porsche with the Cayenne Coupe and Audi with the Q8 but this is a 10 in terms of style. The interior we can move past that, its all about the performance and bmw does great in this aspect. Absolutely love the sound of it. Nothing can beat a german V8 like this.
agree, BMW's interior design is at the same level as Toyota and Honda, just with nicer materials. The interior design is the biggest reason I give up this and go to the GLE coupe. I feel my money spends more worthy even buying a used GLE63 than this.
@@RelsreallifeAwww well isn’t that great for you! Job well done! Point proven that you felt compelled to respond to what I originally said. Hit dog will yell 🤷🏽♂️

I always love trying to guess where you’re filming since I’ve lived in Lexington my whole live. I KNOW you did you acceleration test down Alumni Drive.
Love the look of the X6, especially this all black model. I drove an X6 with the B58 6 cycl. That was plenty of power for the U.S. Save the 20k for the V8 and upgrade the 40i sports package and executive package.
The original X6 still rules in the design department, it really was the baddest and the most sinister looking vehicle in the market, this just looks like the biggest version of their smaller Xs, which actually is the case. But I get a certain individual's level of satisfaction upon purchasing a vehicle like this.
Hold up, this isn't the X6M? Wow! The GV80 might not have the brand cachet or the performance, but it's definitely more attractive especially on the interior. And the almost 30K price difference cannot be ignored.
If you're in the market and concerned about the looks, test drive it to Audi and Merc lots. For me, it became a no-brainer. X6 is just awe-inspiring and made others look "wrong" or boring. GV80 was unavailable at that time, but in at least some Canadian lots today.
I rented an X5 6.0 in Germany for 10 days. I drive 150mph in it. Very smooth drive! Very comfortable leather!! Very quick acceleration. Definitely not a car for the US. it can’t be “fully enjoyed”.
I owe a 2024 x6 m60i and it’s all worth it 🙌 I rather throw 100k to BMW then another brand like grand Wagoneer or a ford bronco they are around the same msrp
5:18 so if someone steals your phone they can steal your car too? Seems like that would sacrifice security for convenience. Maybe BMW will come up with some software safeguard like an access code to enter before driving. 🤔
I owned the 2015 and 2020 X6. Service people suck and car is beautiful, amazing.. but overpriced and not reliable. Started getting issues and service wanted 20k for repairs ( apparently living near the ocean does 20k salt damage)on a 4 year old car. I traded in yesterday for a 2025 Honda Pilot.
The package structure on these type of vehicles suck first off, and then they make you get these higher models for it to have a really attractive look, the low models look boring, unsporty, and generic, like knock offs almost. And the appearance packages either don’t look good enough or they are so expensive it’s not worth adding. And before anyone says you’re buying it for the performance not the look, that’s bull. Besides, how often are you doing a 0-60 in -5 seconds anyway? You’re paying for the name and the idea they have convinced you is worth it. Because you can get cheaper cars with more features, similar or adequate performance, and less cost of ownership. This just isn’t a good value for the money it costs, but i guess that’s not why anyone wants one.
The backseat still feels cramped even for kids . The rear seat still doesn’t recline . . 🙄 .thee damn engineers need to raise the roof a bit to increase rear headroom and allow far rear seat reclining . Bring the trunk up a bit . I can design it . The back look like a nightmare, I loved my x6. But Mercedes beat them at a game they started . The gle63 has better roof and rear seat space

If you only plan to keep for 3 years sure.
Ok! 😂
These depreciate the fastest during lease.. (first 3 years). Always better to buy new, take good care, and use for 7+ years.

GV80 comparable is the 6 cylinder. Much closer in cost. GV80 does a tick under 6sec 0-60. This m60i is just over 4.

What’s up with BMW dropping the ball , not having video rear mirror ! this could be tragic not having in model X 6 .
Caranddriver tested a X5 with the same power train got 0-60 3.5sec so i think that X6 will be a little quicker than 4.2sec to 60mph
