Carrie was in the year below my daughter at school - she was talented then! Love Les Mis - my son played Gavroche in his musical theatre school when he was about 10 - I was so so proud!!
I live in Australia and when I found out that the show was on DVD I had to get it and for the first 10 times I watched it I was a mess at the end of the show. The show Is amazing and I wish I could meet Carrie in real life, it would be a dream!
Video was amazing. Only just realised that I was actually standing right next to you at the stage door. Just seen myself and laughed. You can see my head pop in at 10:16 . Was gonna ask if you were a vlogger but you seemed very excited as was I. Carrie and all the actors were so polite :D I remembered you handed over the scrunchie to Carrie. It was a great night xx
I completely feel the same way about Carrie! When I met her after seeing the staged concert I talked with her about how much her body confidence helped me and I started crying during the conversation and she hugged me twice and took our picture for me because I was shaking so much😭😂 I didn‘t stop crying until long after I got to my AirBnB it was incredible
LES MIZ is one of my all time favorite musicals. I'm from NYC. I saw the original West End production in the Queen's 10 years with Simon Bowman (OG Chris from Miss Saigon) as Vailjean!! Everyone in that show is unbelievable. The voices, the story, and the staging. Miss that legendary drum revolving set. I later got to see the NEW production on Broadway in 2014 at the Imperial with Ramin Karimloo. One of my friends Julie Benko was in the cast. She was filling in for an Ensemble member who had a really bad leg injury. She also understudied "Cosette". I got to go backstage afterwards. With the NEW production, it's so wonderful because it actually is a unique blend of "Old" and "New" elements. Les Miz is one of those shows where you never EVER get tired of the score. Always tears you up. My dream as a performer is to be in a production.
This brings back so many lovely memories of when I went to see the show in August, didn't have time to go to stage door on that occasion but I got to meet her back in 2014 when she was Eponine
So jelaous!!! but happy for you 🥰 I met Carrie at one of her book signings and she was absolutely lovely and the sweetest. I also saw her perform in Heathers and War of the Worlds but I've been wanting to see her in Les Mis ever since she started playing Eponine (like 6years ago) 💕 because Les Mis is one of my favourites
She's so so lovely! I also had the chance to meet her in the Addams Family two years ago: ua-cam.com/video/OUDJ-x7fDSk/v-deo.html and I saw her as Veronica in Heathers and I adore her! She's a wonderful performer and she does great things when it comes to empowering young women and advocating positive messages! 💛
I came to London from Germany just to see the concert twice and oh my god 😩❤️ it was so worth it. Carrie was incredible and is such a nice person at stage door. Bradley, Rob...just everyone was amaaazing. Can’t wait to come back to the Sondheim theatre to watch the new production ❤️
I am glad you enjoyed seeing Les Miserables The Staged Concert at the Gielgud Theatre in London and I really enjoyed seeing it on Saturday 5th October in the matinee afternoon performance and it was brilliant and amazing and Michael Ball, Alfie Boe and Matt Lucas were all brilliant
@@SheLivesHerDream Yeah it is wonderful and it will be doing a Live Cinema broadcast in the UK on Monday 2nd December and I will be seeing it at ODEON in Lincoln
I actually felt quite nervous for her just from the “what are you doing” remark at the beginning but that could just be me. As long as nobody was uncomfortable in the situation I guess it’s non of my business.
Thank you, loved this vlog. I am a huge fan of Les Mis too, and I really did not expect this staged concert to be that good, it was epic I never experienced something like this in my life. Half of the time, I had goosebumps and I had tears in my eyes at 3 or 4 occasions. Huge fan of Carrie too, and Rob Houchen is my all time favorite Marius. I know a lot of people were disappointed that Alfie Boe did not perform (it happened quite a lot I heard) but I especially bought tickets to see John Owen Jones on a monday, because in my opinion he is a far better actor. Best I have ever seen this staged concert and really enjoyed watching this. thank you!
Dear Lottie, have you seen The Comedy About A Bank Robbery yet? Inspired by your videos we went to a musical theater during our stay in london last weekend. and it was so hilarious., we had tears of laughter
I really enjoyed watching the Live Cinema broadcast of Les Miserables The Staged Concert at Odeon in Lincoln on Monday 2nd December 2019 and again in the encore screening at the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough on Saturday 7th December 2019 both in the Lincolnshire region of England in the UK and it was brilliant and amazing and now it's my favourite filmed/broadcast live performance film and I will be getting it on Blu-Ray and DVD in April 2020 from Universal
Just got back from it (5th time overall seeing Les Mis). Amazing! Although still can't decide if Come From Away has overtaken Les Mis as my favourite show. But going to see CFA again in 2 weeks so maybe might be able to make up my mind!
Benjy A I adore Come From Away! I especially loved it on Broadway, need to see the London cast again. I agree! But I do love my classics... tough choice!
@@SheLivesHerDream Agree with what you say about the stars. Michael Ball wasn't performing last night but doesn't bother me (although I knew Matt Lucas at school so that's always fun!)

This was such a heartwarming vlog, I’m so happy for you seeing the show meeting Carrie, she was so sweet!
Emily Clark oh you’re so kind! Thank you so much! And I agree, she was so lovely!!

I'm not fond of her as Eponine but she stole my heart as Fantine.

Standing tickets for 17 pounds?? omg where can I get those? I want to watch it again. Thanks
I am seeing John Owen-Jones in Les Miserables The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre in London on Wednesday 27th January 2021
How did you find Michael Ball as Javert? The OG Marius in 1985. Fab Edna in Hairspray 😊
Good for you.
Well, thanks! 💛✨
Please, how much are the standing tickets please?
Only £17,50!!! 😍

Great vlog, can I still buy one of your scrunchie or are they sold out?
They're back home in Finland so I will sell them next weekend (I'm home next weekend) and continue making and selling them over Christmas! 💛✨
Make sure to follow @dreamscrunchie on Instagram for updates!
You should do a room tour!!
Audrey Lolli oooh good idea!!
What accent do you have? Sometimes I think you sound Russian and Australian, as well as English. Pretty cool 😊
It is pronounced Geil good x
Matt Lucas first played Thernardier 10 years ago and is a huge part of it's history so i was shocked you didn't know who he was??
