The decorations look lovely. Very pretty. I am a 50's baby and i hanker for the old style christmas. The shops werent full of crimbo stuff in july and life was so much simpler. I remember the paper chains that mum would buy for me to lick and stick, woolworth decorations came out year after year and the ballons were dotted about the ceiling inbetween the chains. Christmas didnt really start until mid December. The tree went up and the quality street tin and the biscuit tin of fancy bics were placed under the sideboard. I had one big present on the day and a stocking. We didnt have alot of money and my peers were the same. I do hope that people enjoy a really happy christmas and dont get into debt. That isnt what christmas is about, enjoy being together and have fun, that doesnt cost alot. Things dont have to be perfect , all the paraphernalia is just that .... fluff and stuff, ovely to look at but its not important. Rosie always makes the home look nice,.

Hi Rosie, absolutely stunning, so classy. I love your lounge and the family room/dining room and kitchen are decorated beautifully too. Considering you have four children it’s all so grown up and they get to have children Christmas in their rooms which I use to do but I still have a few kids Christmas animated toys on stairs and in family room when I say about not having them any more grandchildren won’t let me part with them youngest is 10. I also love Alberts little trike it looks great against the tree quite nostalgic.
