Once you put them on, whichever season, you never, ever want to go back to another barefoot shoe, let alone to "normal" shoes. I VERY highly recommend Wildlings. They have shoes for every season and worth every cent.
@@JilliansNL Right now I wear Fare (A Czech brand) Bare's Membrane shoes. I hike (and city walk) in them in mud, heavy rain, and cold. They are perfect. Almost as comfy as Wildlings. Got rid of my Vivobarefoot shoes since. Way too rigid.

For just kinda kicking around casual, I like the XeroShoes Prio. You should see what you think of them. I’ll def check out the Wildling shoes though, thanks!
I have the vivos and lems that you showed, and couldn’t agree more on them being great. I’ll have to pick up the Wilds. My current favorite is by far the Vivo Magna Trail. They’re super comfortable in the winter with their thermal insole, and I’ve actually had compliments on the way they look.
Can anyone comment on how the sizing of the Wildlings compare to the Vivos? For example if you wear a size 43 Vivos, do you also wear a size 43 in Wildlings?
I've been wearing "Skinners" for a couple of days now - and i love them they're basically socks with a rubber underside. the most minimalist you can get, before it's just socks. (they do look like socks though)
I have very little interest in minimalist shoes or backpacks or luggage, but dang it if I don’t still watch every video all the way to the end anyway. (I did run in the Altra Superior and loved them. And I do enjoy my injinji).
Have you tried Astral shoes? I love them and think they look good. They are not zero drop (they are 1mm drop) and some of the shoes are more flexible than others. I have the Hemp Loyaks M’s.
Thanks for the review. I really appreciate that Wildling uses a lot of natural materials in their products. This separates them from other minimalist shoe companies.
First let me say I love the music the second thing is I saw a young man with the limbs boots on and he swears by them I am 58 years old I've been wearing sneakers I work with the film industry and I'm on my feet for at least 12 hours a day he highly recommends them I'm not used to a barefoot shoe but would like to try what do you think
You may want to check out Groundies Universe which I got recently and must say I prefer to the Vivo Neo Courts, I couldn't get along with the stiff heel cup of the Neo Courts. Also check out Ahinsa if you're into those thinner frabric type shoes, I have a pair of Bindu bare as well and it's easily the best fitting shoe I've tried so far, quite a bit wider than Vivos for example.
Hello Travis how you doing today. I have a question about your Chacos? Do you have the Chaco sandals that have the toe Loop in them? I have big very very extremely wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making my foot 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe and I could not get my big toe to fit through the toe loop because of it being too fat. Someone told me I need to go with the wide size. The ones I tried on were at a store. I don't know should I try the ones without the toe strap or should I order the ride ones with the tow strap I just don't want to go to the hassle of returning if my toe still don't fit through the toe loop. I really would appreciate your info. Thanks you.
I was really waiting for this video, Chase! User of Vivobarefoot Ra II for two years, but they are slowing tearing apart. Can't seem to find the next best one, but I was expecting you were gonna mention the Windling! Unfortunately they didn't have my size when I tried to buy them, and nobody has reviewed until I see you like them. So I guess they will be my next barefoot shoes! Also, I'm huge Shamma sandals fan. I lost once the other and all I wanted is to get the same one again, I was without sandals for a few weeks lol. Anyway, good luck with your podcast!
I love wildling shoes. And also the models the have for the cold seasons are great. I do have the blackberry model and the nessie model. I even have worn them when there have been 40 cm of snow in Southern Germany
Nice one man... a real engaging entry. The trousers you’ve sown look super boring though. (Selling point could be..”Do you have too dazzling of a personality? You wish you could just blend in with the rest? Then these mediocre pants are for you!” ) Anyhow keep up the good work.
(First time I see this channel) ... Guy shows a bunch of normal shoes...where is the barefoot coming in? You wear them without socks? Or is it just "normal to thin soles" ? Very confused now ;) I usually walk barefoot in my house (unless it is really cold), so why all the shoes? And afaik the only reason to have thicker soles is that the deeper profile keeps you from slipping (rough or wet terrain/ even urban: leaf on pavement, freshly greased tram rails etc.etc.) and get you of the cold ground when you are outside for a long time.
Great video bro 👍👍 I'm long time user of Vivos, buy was looking at Wildings, and I was wondering if they have similar witdh as Vivos? Can you shed some light on this?
I am about to return mine tanuka Widlings. That hole in the middle of soles. Omg. What a terrible idea. Cant wear them without insoles because there is super sharp stitching around that middle hole. Also can feel hole with foot. Otherwise great shoe. Just that sole design is big no no for me
