How this has only 500 views is an good example of how bad the UA-cam recommendation algorithm is. Top notch content.

If I may ask, are you even human anymore? Alas I am of the belief you are too intelligent to classify now as oh my gosh your videos are incredible!!!!

THERE IS MORE! Feedback FX are all secretly comb filter/resonators. You can also use the Flanger/Chorus tools as resonators. Set Mod rate to 0, Feedback up, and now you can stack resonators for even more dissonant metallic design.

THERE IS EVEN MORE! (Serum is my fav vst for this reason).... Use resynthesis to stack as MANY resonators as you want. Wavetable synthesis is a cheat code for easier modular synthesis.

What do you mean by resynthesis? How do u do it in serum? Thanks

Jakub, this is another fine example of the sort of in-depth envelope-pushing (no pun intended, haha!) for which you are justly famous. You're like a test pilot for synths: you find all the things that even the designer might not have realised they can do. Wonderful stuff.

To fine-tune it - go to the matrix - connect one of your Macros to Filter Cutoff. In my case macro 4.
Set amount to 1, type to bipolar. Now you can surgically fine-tune your filter with your macro knob.
Thank you so much Jakub for an amazing tutorial :)

Amazing. I haven't touched Serum in awhile. This gives me ideas. Ideas for VCV as well. Thanks Jakub!

Oh dope, you figured out the kick attack + comb filter combo too! I've managed to make a half-decent-sounding harpischord with it, though I did need to use some post-processing to make the comb filtered "string" sound like two detuned ones.

Amazing video. I have a question for the patch in 11:39. I tried to replicate it on my Serum, but if I don't play a chord with all the notes perfectly together, the hemiola polyrhythm. How do you sync these 2 oscillators/LFOs to start simultaneously, without pressing the keys perfectly together?

Very cool technique, thank you for sharing. Have you worked at all with mono sounds? Those would be very useful to me but there seems to be an unavoidable and unwanted portamento, as if the keyboard tracking on the filter is a little slow.
