Geometry Dash is a game for having fun playing and creating, the amount of deco doesn't always mean it will be featured, it's like people forgot what a featured level is. I think this is feature worthy of the time put into this. It can be compared to a generic level anyways.

This is a example of think smarter not harder level design. Instead of overly flashy and obnoxious lights and colors. This one pays homage to the classic level styles but in a neat interesting way. That still looks very nice despite being simple.
