Great view. As they continue to mine sand against all complaints. Can't wait until Kurnell becomes an island (it is actually classed as a "land tied" island, soon to be "untied" if they continue) and we have our own superbank!
@@daviddou1408 Not wrong. Brought up in 50's to 70's in Easterly end of Girriland Rd and the sand would come in when the Nor' Easter hit. Only imagine "Greenhills Estate" though not much sand left the salt absolutely smashed the cars back in the day. The Project Manager, a local, that was on construction of the desal plant said those lakes cover where sand was dredged down 20+ metres below seal level and "back filled" with building waste among other things.
@@daviddou1408 2 small cottages!? That's amazing just thinking about how uncluttered it was. Built out now of course. House at Girrilang in 1955 -71 is long gone with next door and town house "estate" no's 16-18. Still go surfing though the Point and Voodoo not so much anymore LOL. Garie sometimes though, Nasho still holds it's beauty :D
Stunning spot there I actually flew my Spark there yesterday although it was very windy I didn’t get shots over the water like you as I didn’t want to risk it..
JB Drone Man Yeah, Wanda beach is a long beach. I managed just under 4km distance away from me before I lost the signal. Reason why I flew out over the water is because I didn't want to fly over other people on the beach. The last thing I want is it fell on top of someone's head. Rather it crashed into the sea. Make sure you don't fly over any crowd on thd beach, in case they may feel violated.
Wow, what an amazing flight and what a great view.
I can see that they are digging up sand past Wanda for something
